P. G.Myself and my girlfriend visited here for lunch on a Friday and I have to say from the time we walked in we were made to feel so welcome. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We had soup and brown bread for lunch, I had a coke and my girlfriend had a pint of Guinness and said it was the best Guinness she ever had. From now on when I am around this part of the country I will be stopping here. We were told about this village from a friend and we were so glad we stopped here, we had a lovely walk in a beautiful place.

P. H.Great staff, warm and welcoming. Nice selection of food. Very cv19 aware all our certs were checked and plenty of space. Every table was full at 6 on a Saturday. Always a good sign.
S. T.The service was excellent, we waited a very short time for the food and drinks. We ordered spicy chicken wings, mushrooms and brie for starters and it was fantastic. Main was good too, but the mash had a weird consistency and the duck wasn't the best. Overall a good experience, would come here again.

S. K.Nice fare - sea food chowder was nice if a little floury at end. Beautiful Lamb shank and fab bacon salad. Duck spring rolls clearly gave the duck the weekend off for the races.
Great outdoor area well run and really nice staff. Will be back when the ducks return.
