Visited Sharmaji's restaurant while we where visiting Galway. The owner couple running the place are absolute gems when in comes to hospitality. Authentic Indian flavors in a classic done seating space. When in Galway if you crave for good Indian food - Kumar's should be your go to place. Also the Mohit who took our order was so friendly and took the order patiently taking care of our needs. He had excellent hoteliers skills.

Nice restaurant with good food and a fantastic set meal for two people. A little appetizer, 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for €50. Lovely accomodating and polite staff, quick service and great food!

Enjoyed the vegetarian menu. Staff was attentive. Food could have been spicier but had good flavors. Nice variety on menu. Very reasonably priced.

All dishes were tasty and I had a delicious prawn curry, but there was something not right with the chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was tough and of poor texture. This is not unique to Kumars, as we had a similar experience 2 weeks ago from Oran Tandoori. Not sure exactly what it is, but my son only eats this curry and has never complained before.

Very nice restaurant, warm welcome and atmosphere. Food was absolutely amazing, we were four and everyone chose different dishes at dinner (and shared some). I was personally really impressed, food is very tasty but not too elaborated, like you would expect if you search for kind of home-made style food! Absolutely reasonable price, eventually I couldn't help but having a chat with the staff and leave a tip!!

The food was yum. I am someone who likes to try Indian food everywhere I go at least once on my trip. We went to Kumar's two weeks ago - the food was great, the kitchen was quite busy, almost all the tables were full. Since there was so much rush, every dish was fresh. Only thing was - we were amazed to see that there was not as much social distancing happening compared to other places in latin quarters neighborhood

Absolutely amazing authentic food. So hard to find authentic Indian food but this one was just amazing. Could not recommend any higher. They have covid safety measures in place, all staff wear facemasks and there are clear sheets between seats 😍

The meal deal for 2 is less than €50 and amazing. A starter and a main, 4 beers and all the extras I'm a veggie and the fella is alergic to dairy. The staff were incredibly helpful with our awkwardness and also honestly friendly. I would highly recommend a romantic night there or even an office party. Thank you folks for the incredible welcome

On the good side the food was great, but on the flip side the service was pretty poor. The guy with the glasses should really go on a hospitality course. We found him unfriendly, unwelcoming and just downright rude. Once we'd finished our mains there was no offer of desserts or tea and coffee, he just said he'd bring over the the bill. We really felt as though we were ushered out the door. Wouldn't go back!

DELICIOUS INDIAN FOOD. The food transports back to India. The flavours are perfectly balanced and even though I asked them that I am not accustomed to spicy food they made the dish perfectly balanced for me which I thoroughly enjoyed with my friends. The staff is very warm and welcoming with amazing service and mannerism. I'm definitely going to go back soon.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Galway. My husband and I usually come here for date nights. The food is consistently high quality, flavorful and filling. They are willing to accommodate vegans by request, have friendly staff, and the atmosphere is elegant and well-decorated, yet still comfortable enough for casual dining.

Small but really nice restaurant. For a perfect meal, take a good Indian dish, bread and rice for the sauce, a nice beer, and this is it. People working here are really nice. They also have a Just Eat profile and if you live in Galway but don't want to move you can still enjoy it!
