I came here for a romantic dinner and I wasn't disappointed! We both ordered the fish, which was cod - delicious. The starters were great too. Service was very good. The prices are very reasonable as well, but they gouge you through the wine prices.

This place is incredible. Amazing food (ham and cheese croissants, and the blue cheese salad are to die for), pastries, coffee, tea, and wine. Literally everything you ever need in one place. Chloe is always so friendly and goes above and beyond every time. Definitely a new favourite spot in Galway.

I went twice, in the morning for breakfast, my son loved the place too, he wouldn't love drinking hot chocolate with Teddy all over the restaurant, I loved the experience. She likes to say that the EMPLOYEE who is always attending on the part of tomorrow, she is a love of a very friendly and helpful person, I will come back again.

Visited this french patisserie / bakery for a quick breakfast, we got the Croque monsieur - which was two types of cheese with ham on sourdough bread - so good! There are 3 tables outside for outdoor dining, the staff are so helpful and nice. I’ll be returning when I’m back in Galway again.

This place holds a special place in my heart; i went here on the first date with my now husband, our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding and for our one year wedding anniversary. You wont be disappointed with the food here.

Second time here. Service and food are great. Without doubt, the do one of the best fillet steaks I have eaten in Ireland. Prices are very good too, especially for the quality of the food.

This place is consistently brilliant - ever since it opened I am yet to have a bad experience here. First of all It's great value for money, and the amuse bouche is always a big portion (but can be a bit tricky if you're a fussy eater!) The steak always comes with a choice of side, I go for the dauphinoise potatoes every time but the sautéed potatoes are lovely too! The wine list is fantastic, they are great for recommendations and there are affordable options on it as well as a beer and spirits menu for non wine drinkers. My only gripe with the place is that my steak is always over cooked, every single time - but its always really tasty so I never bother saying anything😂

Made a reservation the day before Valentine's, the waiters were very polite and asked if I needed more than an hour for dining and appropriately suggested a late sitting rather than squeeze us into something unreasonable. Very friendly as always. Dinner on the night was up to expected standards, always cook their steaks to perfection, wine suggestions were on point.

I liked what I was served, but didn't like that the salmon was served with scales. Great for extra protein and roughage, but not for an easy meal (I'm from generations of Spanish fishermen so know it's a matter of taste, but in a restaurant?! Makes me think cheap and badly prepared.) However, the rest of the food was great, fries delicious, evening's bread best I've eaten in a long time.

Awesome place, and quite good quality-price ratio..for 15€ you've got a menu with steak or fish, whatever you choose between some dishes. The complements are really nice, I would recommend the french fries, hand made and with a great taste. The wine is maybe a bit expensive but also extraordinary.. to sum up, gotta get there..

Le rouge is the restaurant in Galway I would recommend to anyone. It is always consistent, the fillet of steak, the chips, the fresh fish, the ratatouille and the desserts are excellent and always cooked perfectly. I am writing to inform you on an incidence that happened Thursday last night 7th of July. My friends and I booked a table for 6.45 with you, Which I was very excited for as it was my first time eating in the restaurant. There was a group of 5 of us. We were having a great evening, Lovely food, great company and a perfect atmosphere. At the end of the night we asked for a desert menu for the table. The chocolate fondant had written (cooked to order) I asked the only male waiter on the floor that night what that had meant. He rudely passed comment to my very simple question i asked. "By the time you finished asking me this question the chef could be making it'. As a fellow employee in the hospitality industry i know this is not a way to treat anybody and i was quiet held back by it. It then ruined the atmosphere of the table and all of our opinion on the restaurant itself. I hope this is not a common way guest are treated in your restaurant as it will not be good for business.

Rouge is a very popular restaurant. It operates a very successful concept, good value fixed price for amuse bouche, starter steak/fish/Veggie. But it feels a real production line, with a table turn every 90min, so you feel very rushed, with different waiters serving you. Absolutely fine, but not a "go to" place for me.

The best restaurant in Galway and arguably in all Ireland. This is a small restaurant run by a french couple and serving the most divine french food. You basically either chose a fish or meat option and from then on the meal is set. The entrees are a selection of the chefs delicacies and are stunning. The mains are beautifully cooked and of sensible portion size to leave room for one of their delicious desserts. If you are in Galway for the evening you must eat here. If you are within a hundred kilometres of Galway then try and go the rest of the way and eat here. Booking needed.

This is a famous French restaurant in downtown Galway. The special feature is that each course is served and there is a separate menu for vegetarians. They have a ton of wine and a great atmosphere. However, the price is a bit expensive, and the taste is not as special as it is, which is a bit disappointing.

We went on the recommendation of an acquaintance and the place is really interesting. It is a French restaurant, run by French people, located in a beautiful neighborhood of Galway, specializing in wine, and indeed it is. Most of the wines are quite expensive but of high quality and the place makes it very easy to sit down and have a drink quietly. We didn't have dinner but the food really looked good.

My wife and I stopped at this restaurant because we were late compared to Irish dinner time standards. It was, however, a splendid discovery in terms of food offerings, accompanied by a more than honorable wine list. All in an authentically transalpine way. Absolutely not to be missed.

We are not great wine connoisseurs and the sommelier was able to guide us on one of the best wine tastes so far in our lives. The service is impeccable and the place is very pleasant. This French restaurant has just celebrated its six years of existence. The decor is very beautiful, the stone walls like Irish castles, the ceiling with large exposed beams. Small menu but which will please many, Rossini tournedos, half lobster, steak, appetizers and dishes for small appetites, with cheese and/or cold meats. Excellent desserts including tarte Tatin, chocolate mousse and many others. The waitresses are French and friendly.
