My second time here with friends and must come more often, such a lovely cosy and lively place with beautiful décor and great food, you definitely won't be leaving hungry! Friendly and helpful staff, lovely experience overall.

Stumbled upon this fantastic pub as we were staying in the hotel a stones throw away. Initially planned to stay for a quick pint but between the delightful decor, friendly staff and selection of sports we decided to stay for a couple hours and cane back for even longer the next day. Particular thanks to the gentleman doing the front of house and seating people as it was evidently busy yet his composure was immaculate and remained friendly while doing the job to an excellent standard. I would highly recommend the wings, possibly the nicest I’ve ever had. Will be back should i be in Galway again.

Went here for my nieces 18th birthday. Have to say we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was beautiful and the service was excellent. We were looked after by Lillian and she could not do enough for us. Such a helpful and lovely girl. She made us feel so welcome.

Tom Sheridan's bar and restaurant is a hidden gem in Galway. We dined here twice last week and have to say the food was absolutely fantastic. The taste and presentation was amazing. The service was brilliant especially considering how busy the place was. The staff were excellent and really helpful. We thought the Tom Sheridan's was great value for money and will definitely be back the next time we are in Galway. Would recommend booking especially at weekends.

I had dinner at Sheridans with a few friends and was blown away by the incredible measures taken to make it a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The staff were very friendly and wore PPE 100% the correct way. Which enabled us to enjoy their delicious food without any stress or worry. P. S. We had eaten here many times before and had been very happy with the food but we ate here on Thursday 6th August and we’re especially delighted with the standards and efforts made in light of the current health situation in the country. Without sacrificing their high standard of service and quality of food they created a highly safe environment which would make any customer feel comfortable throughout their dining experience. Their attention to detail far outperformed any of the other establishments we ate in throughout our staycation and were greatly appreciative of all that they do. Thank you!

Really enjoyed our cozy meal recently here. My disabled elderly mum loved, as I did, the little table near the fire in a nook around the corner from the main bar in the dining area. Gorgeous fire inset in their beautiful wood fireplace surround! We enjoyed our meals... Chicken Burger and, to my Wheat Belly/keto diet delight, Pork Belly. While the pork skin was quite tough, the pork belly itself was lovely. Sides were scrumptious too. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful, and service was excellent. A lovely, warm, wood-filled old-world place to while away the evening with good food and drink!

Great place for food in the evenings but my sister and I had breakfast here recently and I have to say they were the worst breakfasts we ever had . I don’t know who cooked them but certainly couldn’t have been a chef as the items on the plate saw better days. Would never eat breakfast here again. It was very disappointing as we had had wonderful evening meals there many times.

I used to live nearby and loved walking to the place to have its full irish breakfast. Also been there for lunch and dinner and thought they were lovely and would rave about it. However, a few times my bacon came out with burnt black spots all over. They were black black. I let that pass a few times but the last time i mentioned it to the manager and she told me that that was how the bacons were suppose to be. Was she dah?! Anyways. Haven't been there since because of that. If i want my food burnt then I'll ask for that. And if you're going to burn someones food then let them know on the menu.
