S. W.After a week in Ireland I needed me some flavor. I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese food I've ever had but it def hit the spot. the Szechuan beef is actually spicy and the spicy bucket was quite interesting since it has French fries in the dish. I had one of the lamb dry noodles and it pretty good. Portions are also very good considering the price, come here if you need a change!

L. S.I got the fried rice with prawn, number 20 on the menu if I remember correctly. It was bland and tasted alright. The staff weren’t knowledgeable and had attitude, and didn’t ask about spice level which would have been helpful. Got a matcha bubble tea with plant based milk which was good!
The pictures of the menu are old, they are not updated. The price has increased which is fine, obviously bc of COVID and inflation. But they should update it online so people can be informed when making a decision.
Unfortunately I didn’t get the pleasure of good service. But the food was honestly disappointing was expecting it to taste amazing bc of the reviews. But the portion was decent though.

A.Open 24 hours, delicious food at a great price, located in Galway city not far from Jurys hotel in the Latin Quarter. Take away and food delivery service available very convenient and fast service. Noodles are make fresh by chef which you can watch while waiting. Seating upstairs and down stairs, staff are very helpful & friendly.

P.It's very rare to have such an authentic place for Chinese food in such a little city like Galway. This is definitely a must-go for a quick bite or a full meal!
R. Y.They had glass noodles lamb pao mo one day as their lunch special and it was so nolstalgic. The soup was very peppery but definitely in a good way! Very generous with the pieces of lamb that came with the noodles. No faults with the whole dish altogether! Great for a cold day. The bubble tea however.. absolutely diluted and was almost lukewarm, don't bother.
L. V. (.Both the food and the prices are 10/10 here. They have veggie + vegan options here and I can personally vouch for the rice noodle salad. Generally, any day or time you go here it's gonna be packed. Staff are great and usually work through queues quickly, but it still must get stressful, so remember to tip 😉

This is our third time here.
While the food from our past visits was delicious, on this occasion, while the flavours were what you would expect from Sweet and Sour Chicken, the chicken was very chewy.
It was a generous portion but the meat just lacked in flavour and was very chewy.
I will go back again because I do like the food here but that time, it just missed the mark for me.

E. C.I'm writing here today for two reasons. The first being to pay respect to the best Chinese restaurant in the country WITHOUT DOUBT and the second, to counter a recent malicious attack on your fine establishment.
By way of explanation, the individual Gavin has long sustained his slight and undernourished body with Tesco meal deals and instant noodles. This self destructive behaviour can be credited to both his meagre nature and bad taste. It has also rendered him ill suited to judge any food which has not passed its best before date.
For him to lecture you on Asian cuisine when he had yet to discover how hand pulled noodles are prepared is absurd.
The man should not be heeded.

J. R.Great food, prices are right as well. I got a rice bowl with chicken and vegetables, it was so big I couldn't eat it all and super tasty. There are water jugs on tables which is great, because my meal was very spicy at times. The place is clean and looks cozy inside.

M. M.Xian Street Food serves very big rations, it is cheap and tasty. It is a place to go for fast Asian food.
The chili chicken is delicious. I love the noodles with duck also.
The place can get crowded at lunch or during weekends.
If you order delivery from sometimes they don't add salt to the food. It has happened to me a few times. Who knows why xD, may be because they were expecting you to add your own soy to the food? No idea. Soy is normally not included in deliveries.

They did not have any soft drinks left at around 8 o'clock and the beer they had instead was warm. The food was signed spicy and it was spicy as hell, not just a little bit.

The service was very quick, and staff very sympathetic.
Two bad points, all dishes we took were way to spicy (pad Thai, Singapore noodles, Xian famous biang biang) , even the one which are told as not spicy... My friend could not have eat his, asked for another less spicy and got the same.. Moreover we could not have any glass of water with our dishes..
So I recommend if you like spicy food(even very spicy food) otherwise do not go there.
P. C.Usually when I travel back home I refuse to eat non-Irish foods. I live in Chicago and can get any kind of food, any time I want. I do like to eat at Burger King, Subway, and KFC but will not indulge while at home. For me it is Supermac's and pretty much any bar, restaurant, or hotel in Ireland can serve you up a fantastic meal these days. I do miss the days of getting a toasted ham and cheese for a couple of [pounds] but I am showing my age. Nowadays I like to indulge in steaming hot bowls of seafood chowder and soup from Park House Hotel (but that's a review for another day).
Where was I??? Oh, yes, Xi'an street food. I was home with my wife (who is half Chinese), before XSF opened and she especially was looking forward to trying it out. I was home by myself just a couple weeks ago (Late March 2019) and thought "what the [heck], I will have some Chinese". I was going to be having dinner a couple hours later so didn't want to eat much so I ordered just the BBQ Style (Beef). It was delicious!! It was nicely presented, full of juice, and plentiful. My only regret was that I didn't order rice with it as there was plenty of juice left on the plate and some rice would have sopped it up nicely as I was eating it.
I probably didn't need to include the first fourteen lines (hah, I bet you counted them, didn't you?) of this review but I hope you enjoy Xi'an Street Food!
Update: November 2019. Home with my aforementioned wife and we went to XSF. She really enjoyed it too.
