This is a proper BBQ joint! Vegetarians, keep away! If you're looking for an American style BBQ smokehouse, this is the place to go. Expertly smoked meats, excellent sides and the nicest staff I've ever come across. Brisket is excellent and I know the phrase is overused, but the meat literally falls from the bone off the ribs. One piece of feedback; for the platter, I would serve sauce on the side as pouring over all meats can mask the individual flavors to an extent. A few different style bbq sauces on the side would take the experience even further. There's a great outdoor seating area, kids are well catered for and Cooney's pub next door serve great Guinness. If you're into BBQ, this place needs to be on your list. Also....check out their BBQ beans!

Friendly staff and a great selection of fresh bbq food. The inviting smell of slow smoked meats drew us inside and we took a seat next door in Cooney's pub. I had the brisket bap with beef, slaw and salad. Chips on the side were amazing. Perfect fry and salted well. Would recommend this place if you're near Gorey as it's only ten minute drive away. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of what's on offer.

Stunned!!! If you were blindfolded and dropped here you would never believe it was a crossroads in Wexford. The minute you walk in the door the smell of wood smoke is a promise of good things to come. A small menu well executed delivers on every aspect. Tasty chicken. Brisket with a bark and smoke ring I've only seen on programmes about legendary pitmasters. Tangy slaw. Tasty beans. Crisp fries and sauces to match all. It's a long time since we felt as satisfied after a meal with no heaviness. Will definitely be taking the coast road back to Waterford from Dublin more often. Never tasted BBQ like it and doubt there's better to be had anywhere on these islands.

Simply the best barbecue around! We got the chicken and pulled pork burger, chicken wings, herby fries and regular fries. We were also brought a free serving of onion rings (which were the best either of us had ever had) and a small taster pot of the beans. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t phenomenal, and the staff were all so friendly too! We’ll definitely be visiting again

What a gem of a place. Perfect if you fancy a nice BBQ but don't want to cook it! We had burgers, wings and chips, all delicious. Bonus that it's next door to Cooneys so you can get a drink with your meal (recommend the Guinness here, v nice indeed!). Outdoor seating area is lovely and staff very friendly :)

This is the best American-style barbeque you'll find in Ireland. As a transplant from the southern states, I'd given up on ever being able to order decent ribs from a restaurant here in Ireland, until I found these guys. Their classic sauce is just like my dad's recipe, made in a sweet, tangy style and the meats come properly smoked, melting in your mouth underneath a solid bark. The only thing I'd change would be the amount of sauce served on both the ribs and wings, so next time I'll ask for the sauce to be reduced. But seriously....if you want barbeque, this is where to go! Best cole slaw, beans and meats I've had this side of the Atlantic :)

Stopped by the new location in hollyfort Village tonight for some tucker. Got the pulled pork, chips and beans. And a sneaky few ribs. As a decorated veteran of all that is bbq and street food, I pushed my very empty plate aside after my feast and loosened the auld belt. All I can say is nomm nomm. Top marks and top grub.
