Really nice place. Staff are unbelievably nice and helpful. Food is gorgeous. The pizza is lovely. We had ice creams, crepes and waffles Cones and they were so nice. Prices are good too. And they sell everything you'd need. Even wine. If your down this way I'd highly recommend this place.

I used to come here every summer and it was great. But this week has shown how disorganised it was. Sign said three people in the shop but nobody enforcing that rule. Also 3 times they had lost my order and I had to go up and ask where my order was and they had to do it again. Severely understaffed. I know COVID has been a strange time but with the sunny weather it was very disorganised and I was very disappointed

Have gone to Lawlers believe or not for 40 years, started in Lawers caravan park with the Fitzpatricks then got our own in Mary White's and 44 years later still there so believe you me I have amazing memories of Lawlers, it's still the same as in looking out for everybody one amazing family looking after the shops AMAZING

Great place for ice-creams, gear for the beach including wet suits, great fish/chip and excellent Pizzas. My sister loves their coffee. It is absolutely brilliant. Great to have on your doorstep as you come off the beach. Great outdoor space too for children to play. Really well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed. 😊😊

Have to say I had the nicest meal for a long time last Wed from Lawlers ! Takeaway it may be but the Dinner Box was really the best I have ever had. We had been out and about eating in Restaurants in Kilkenny so when we reached Kilmuckridge - decided we would try and cannot wait to go back - rang up and collected 30 minutes later. Well done Lawlers

A really nice chipper right beside the beach. While you are waiting for your order you can have a nice stroll on it. The pizzas are what I come here for. The Mexicana is a pizza with taco sauce , beef, peppers and jalapenos on it. Nice, spicy and fresh always. Lots of other types of pizzas too that are really nice as well as usual choice of chipper food. Another nice touch is you are given a beeper with your order that flashes and vibrates when your order is ready for collection. Staff are always nice and friendly. Plenty of seating outside with an overhead roof if weather isnt the best (being Ireland it generally isn't) 😂

Really good service and while you wait you get a pager so you can go off and either let kids play in kids area or go look round shop next door or sit in your car and wait. We had pizza and garlic bread and it was yummy they even do kids pizza's that comes with a drink for 5.25 which I think is a good price. Will definitely be returning again might try chips next time.

Grand little shop, takaway, pizza, ice-creams. Outdoor seating small carpark. Can get very busy. Play area for kiddies. Handy shop for essentials if staying in nearby mobile camps. Not too expensive. Small selection of wine beer etc.

Great place for fish and chip. Have sport shop next door that sell all you need for beach. Two thing that stood out, you have to salt and vinegar your own chips, a pain when the place is busy, chips are not coeliac friendly,

We came here to buy 2 wetsuits for the children, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The premises are immaculate and Liz helped us to try on and find the right sizes and type of wetsuits (and wetsuit boots) to suit us best. We couldn't have been more satisfied (and we even had time to visit the beautiful beach on their doorstep) and sample a snack from their takeaway. I can honestly say Lawlers are a fabulous asset to the beautiful village of Kilmuckridge and we are looking forward to visiting again.

5years ago I rated this chipper a great chipper and remained that way until 2022 . The chips and the gourmet burgers were very nice and the same for pretty much everything else it was very enjoyable. Roll on 2023 I dunno what has happened 1) Chips just left a greasy taste in the mouth for hours not nice . 2) The Gourmet burger -genuinely the buns were like rocks the meat was equivalent to eating the tyre off my car . ( harsh comment but fair this was my experience) It breaks my heart leaving this review please sort it out whatever has happened . Update: Edited review based on Ed response , while I stick by my comments the chips were not nice and the gourmet burger didn’t live up the standards previously set . I also will be accepting Ed offer to come in for a coffee soon rather than later hopefully a constructive friendly chat . In no way shape or form is this review to hurt a business that has been renowned for their quality and taste but at the same time I stand by my comments . Every business deserves a second chance . I will be back to try again .
