Delicious food, honestly priced. Staff are lovely, really friendly. We had our 18 month old daughter with us and they could not have been kinder or friendlier with her. The Kitchen will definitely be a regular for us in the future!

After all the Christmas rush, it was time for a treat, and although we did not have a booking, we got a table at the Kitchen in Gorey, and enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. If you have never been to the Kitchen, I would recommend that you sit in the quieter right hand area, where you can watch the chefs prepare pizzas in the wood burning oven.

Cosy restaurant in the heart of the city. The food is good and the menu interesting (portion sizes generous too, I couldn't fit in desert). I went there with family and the restaurant appeared to be able to cater for all sorts of customers. It seemed to be quite popular with the locals, and it was full on the night I was there (we had the table booked).

Visited here on the Sunday evening of the August Bank holiday weekend. Had made a reservation so table was waiting. Restaurant was fairly full. We were given the menus but then had to wait 20 mins for a waitress to take our order. Service was slow but the food when it came was delicious. We ordered lamb for mains and the sundaes for dessert. Absolutely gorgeous. People kept arriving and the waiting time between courses was long but it was worth waiting for. The restaurant is lovely and clean and the toilets were the same and well maintained. A very pleasant evening despite the horrendous rain outside!

Food was well presented and staff were fairly nice. Everything looked great - unfortunately that’s as far as it got. Trying to be too fancy with their ingredients made the food and combinations of ingredients wrong and not very appetising. The final price was extremely expensive for the quality of their food and compared to other finer quality restaurants in the area. Have been at The Kitchen a few times and have had several chances to go back since but will always favour a different restaurant going forward. Disappointing experience with their food each time.

Felt like the food and service was slightly lacking. Not a breastfeeding friendly place based off my own personal experience. The server all but abandoned our table as soon as my baby needed to be fed. I was informed that the bathroom was close by for my own comfort and privacy... this was the only time I dined in the Kitchen and it will be the last.

The pulled pork pie and garlic potatoes was a winner. They have a very good menu with lots of locally sourced options. Nice wine selection and lunch offers. The kitchen is open plan and the interior is spacious with a modern feel to it. Service was excellent.

Found the kitchen on best places to have lunch. Three of us called in, Greeted with a very warm welcome seated straight away. Poached salmon was delicious perfect size portion. My company had the seafood linguine and the the other guest had pulled pork pie. All served with style and delicious 3 empty plates back to the chef. Compliments to all. If in Gorey pay a visit. The sharing dish as a starter was great. Was very disappointed that there was no steak in the restaurant and I had to select a different dish. Service was good, friendly, atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

The food was lovely but the time in between starters and the main meal was ridiculous (approx 1 hour). In the end we had to ask where our main meal was and it was then promptly served. The staff were very friendly but the whole delay thing spoiled our experience.
