N. G.Excellent food and wine, great atmosphere, good service. We celebrated my birthday a few months late, with this being a special treat. Amazing flavours, the Old Fashioned cocktail delicious, and a good selection of good wines.
I enjoyed the Birthday song too.

We has the Chakra platter which was an assorted collection of Sea Bass, Prawns, Lamb Kebab and chicken tikka. The flavours and the spices went really well.
For Main Course we had tried the Makai paneer saag,which is fried cottage cheese in a rich Spinach sauce. We also tried the kashmir Roghanjosh and it would be the closest to as authentic you can get. The saffron essence was an absolute delight.
The staff was courteous and friendly.
Overall a really good Indian Fine Dining experience.

A. M.Most proficient place with very good decor, spacious arrangement (no cluttering), decent location (in Greystones) and really excellent staff & service. I made the error of omission however when I placed my order & the meal I was served was probably excellent for the Western palate. The omission - for those in the know - was the request to have the chef cook according to DESI STYLE (desi = traditional or homestyle). Given the considerable professionalism on display here, no doubt my meal would have perfectly sated my Asian palate. Highly recommended.
A.Lovely experience, top class service and super delicious indian food. The presentation of the dishes is amazing too. Although portions are not too big the meal is still pretty rich. Pricewise, rather on expensive side in comparison to other places in the area but you will not be disappointed.

I had the butter chicken which was well cooked, nicely presented and the flavours were spot on and one of the best I've had. They are gluten free options to Nan breads as well. One of the best Indians in Ireland? Definately.

For starters, the sheesh combination was amazing, with the prawn stealing the show. The lovely thing about Chakra is not only is presented beautifully but the sauces serve a purpose, dip in to the little "dots" and "smears" with the food and it brings the food to another level
The main course with the lovely mix of crab claws, prawns and a nice piece of seabass was great.
The naan bread is AMAZING!!! Plain naan is their best offering...dont bother with anything else, and use it for the beautiful sauces
Only feedback I would give was that on the very busy night we were there, we were constantly asking for drinks rather than being offered. However, having been here many times, this was the exception, not the norm

Regarding the service, the waiters were child-friendly, very efficient and swift. Overall, a fantastic experience at chakra and a lovely location in Greystones!
D.Very good service, nice open plan with plenty of air and light. Some say "pricey" but taking into account the quality of menu, wine list and food, I'd argue it's good value for a great meal!

R. A.Ambience is quite remarkable. Food, I felt, was quite average though. We ordered all vegetarian side dishes and although each of them had quite distinctive taste, but all of them seems to be missing that kick/wow factor.
Quite a frustrating incident happened with us at this visit when we requested an available window table after being seated on another table at the middle of the restaurant. The manager checked the reservations and told us that the window table was requested by another reservation which was completely understandable. However, 10 mins later we noticed that another couple entered the restaurant, offered a corner table, sat down, didn't feel comfortable, moved to another table, didn't feel private enough, then moved to the already reserved window table!!! Not to mention the couple was middle aged, wearing designer outfits, possibly drove in their Bentley!!
The reason I'm mentioning this experience on review is that restaurants must avoid treating some customers better/worse based on how they look

I must say the naan was very good.. However I felt the quantity or the size of the naan was way too small when compared to other Indian restaurants.. But having said that the starters were really good and innovative!! The place is a tad bit expensive but surely worth the try ☺

We visited Chakra last week and we thought it was great. I would go there again. The food was super and service great. I really like the decor and location. It is located upstairs in the Meridian Centre, close to Greystones Toymaster and the Post office.
