Very diverse menu for a traditional fish and chip shop... the cajun chips are really nice, and tried the deep fried onion for the first time, which was amazing! Louisiana Chicken burger is just okay, bit rubbery, but everything else is 👌 you won't be hungry after a meal from here. Great size portions. There's also a coffee shop attached, which also sells cakes - great treat after a walk on the pier!

Fantastic fish & chips! The fish (battered haddock) was in a different league altogether compared to standard chip shop fare, and first time ever I've got a side salad with fish & chips. Will defo be back.

I got the best hotdog I've ever eaten in Sweeney's! What a treat. I got recommended the tater tots and they were divine. My partner had a buffalo burger and devoured it. I would highly recommend this place, its my new favourite takeout. The staff were so lovley too!!!

I had fish and chips here today. About 10-15 mins waiting before the order was ready but the meal was delicious. It was presented in a sturdy cardboard container and they included some salad. Not the cheapest by any means but definitely worth the extra few euro for a quality meal. There was also seating available outside which was perfect on such a sunny day.

Nice tasting burgers, bun salad and sauce very good. Far too expensive considering the burger meat is of questionable quality and that's the most important thing in a burger really. Definitely expect homemade burger meat for this price.

You know you are onto a winner when even the side salads to your dishes are tasty, fish and chips are really good but dont be shy about the rest of the menu, everything I have eaten is delish, even the Korean Corn Dog!

Incredible fish and chips, never had anything like it, very unique and just unbelievably tasty, probably the best fish and chips in the Country! If you are visiting Greystones, Sweeneys is a must 👌🏻

Didn't have to wait too long considering how busy it was. Nice walk down the pier while you wait...Staff at the collection point were friendly. Fish & Chips were ok...the fish was tasty and the batter was nice, but would've liked more for the price. The chips let it down a bit as they aren't fresh chips. The garlic dip was really good.
