M. W.If I could double this score I would. My absolute go to favourite restaurant. Unbelievably tasty, super friendly staff, and the owner (Can't remember her name) is great craic and so down to Earth. Just go and try the food. You will be leaving this restaurant talking about how good it was every time and the standard has never dropped as long as i've gone there. Top pick: Cajun Chicken tagliatelle. 🙌🏼
C. C. S.Dinner for two on a Saturday night. The place had a friendly vibe and pleasant decor. Menu has plenty of appetizing options, including several Asian inspired dishes.
Started with a cocktail and a pint of Guinness Whiskey sour was a bit dull.
For our mains, we had the the pork belly special and beef stir fry with noodles. The pork belly had an excellent presentation, but flavor/texture combination was disappointing.
Beef stir fry was very good. Vegetables were vibrant and beef was had a nice browning on the outside, but tender inside. Sauce was a pinch on the sweet side, but still delicious.
Service was pleasant, but a bit of a jumble. Attended to by 3 or 4 different servers, none of them seemed to know what the other was doing.
You pay your check at the cashier at the exit, but nobody told us, so we sat with our bill at our table for 15 mins before figuring it out.

S. G.This is a great spot for some really good food. The places is beautiful inside. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The menu had a great selection and the food is very reasonably priced. Great for lunch or evening menu. They are even open to requests or changes to a dish which is great because i am vegetarian. Would highly recommend this bistro and will 100% return again soon.

M. C.Had a fabulous meal here tonight. The Thai red curry with chicken was so tasty full of flavour. The potato skins and baby back ribs starters were so tasty also. The service was excellent even though the place was so busy. The atmosphere was great a real Christmas buzz. Well done to aishling and all the staff have a happy Christmas we will be back.

B. H.We stopped in for lunch before heading to Cabra Castle. My wife got the fish and chips and I got the Carbonara pasta. Having been to Italy and my wife’s family is from there, I have to say that this dish was perfect! I would say it was the best that I ever had. Our lunch was the best we’ve had so far in Ireland. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A. F.Used the wising well for outside catering for a function. Food was delivered on time and was of the same high standard as the restaurant. They provided cutlery, plates and delivered the food hot when we wanted it so it wasn't sitting overnight. They also gave us lovely salads and breads.

Our family’s first dinner in Ireland gave us a wonderful experience of Irish hospitality. The food was yummy and the service was excellent. Everyone was super helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in. They even took time to ask about our visit and shared with us a lot of useful and interesting information about Ireland.
We highly recommend anyone who visits County Cavan and its environs to dine here.

D. M.I was in Co. Cavan recently helping someone research family history, at lunch time we made our way to the Wishing Well in Kingscourt.
Staff were friendly and the facilities clean, food is served at the back so walk through the bar area to find tables and lots of seating.
Being hungry I took the option of fish cake for starter and a pulled pork bap for main, two great choices. The pulled pork was the best that I have had in Ireland so far.
My friend had the more traditional ham, turkey, spuds three ways and stuffing with turnips.
