Love this place. Our family visits this place at least once every 4 week's. Always very impressed by all the flavour on a plate.

My girlfriend and went there after celebrating a very special moment together. We had the chowder and the tomato soup and which were both winners; the chowder being like a tasty seafood stew in consistency and the tomato soup rich, orangey red and slightly tangy. A very good review was already guaranteed but then to our surprise, some waitresses emerged with the complimentary treats you see in the photo. And they even posed for a photo with us. They showed genuine interest and happiness at our good news and made our low-key celebration incredibly memorable for all the right reasons! We were both absolutely delighted. Thank you, Anocht.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The ambiance is great. It overlooks the castle across the street and inside it has white painted brick and a rustic warm upscale vibe with low romantic lighting. The food was outstanding. I had the hake, my husband had the chicken, and we both got desserts. Of course we liked the chocolate tart the best. The staff was also very kind!

Excellent service, in one of the most uniquely beautiful rooms in Ireland. Came across the restaurant on recommendation of a friend, and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in recent times. I'd go back again and again for the lobster linguine- absolutely mouthwatering.

I am a local of Kilkenny and have always loved everything about Anocht. The food and service has always been faultless. I have never had a bad experience. What's better is recently they have started to promote their cocktail menu. If you're looking for incredible cocktails, Leo is amazing!! He is not only a talented mixologist but so friendly and accommodating. If theres a cocktail you want that's not on the menu he is more than happy to make it. Seriously talented!

First visit to Anocht tonight, but I sincerely hope it won't be the last. Everything about this restaurant, from the lovely ambience, the very friendly, helpful staff to the beautifully cooked and presented food was top class. A fairly large cafeteria style restaurant that is above a design gallery which actually also has some really nice items. As it is cafeteria style there is no table service however the food selection was really fresh and varied offering hot meals as well as sandwiches and desserts. It is also quite fairly priced so it won't set you back a lot especially for the level of quality you get.

Excellent food and superb service on our Friday night visit. Food was delivered in good time even though they were pretty busy and they had a decent selection for our 5 and 8 year olds too. The location could not be better and the prices were reasonable for the venue. Would definitely go again.

Bit if a tourist trap really. Food was ok but the price was ridiculous. Bottle of water, an espresso and a slice of quiche was €18. Fairly steep for a quick lunch

I had the pheasant which was overcooked. My partner took the tiramisu for dessert- worst that I have had...biscuit not soaked properly, mascarpone not whipped properly. Setting is nice though.
