E. M.First time to try this place, it definitely wont be the last.
Great coffee with unlimited refill with breakfast, cappuccino was perfectly proportioned.
Food was super delicious 🤤 we had the Eggs Benny with the Irish smoked salmon, the eggs were perfect and very soft, I loved adding those seeds to the side salad, we also tried the Highbank Orchards Cinnamon Roll French Toast simply perfection👌🏼
Portions were great, This place is highly recommended.
E. T.Highly recommend this place. Used the deli a few times for coffee and baked goods. Excellent. Recently had a few midweek breakfasts and was very impressed, unlimited coffee (any coffee) was a nice touch. Our little dog also loved it. She was given a very big welcome and even a little treat.
S. S.Very nice resturant. Every food is nicely cooked and served. It's very clean place to dine. Even their bread with butter tastes far better in comparison to other places. Prices are very reasonable as per quality and quantity. The staff is very friendly. However tables are very close to each other, which makes it a bit overcrowded, specially during Covid period. But it also shows it' demand and waiting period. Highly recommend to all

D. I.I'm annoyed I didn't take a photo of my food - it looked incredible. Got the Turkish eggs and holy cow it was tasty. Lovely atmosphere and staff accommodated us even without a booking on a busy Saturday morning. The sourdough toast was perfect for me - maybe a little too much butter for my girlfriend (maybe let peopleput their own butter on?).
Coffee was nice - tried a turmeric chai latte. One very minor flaw (very very minor), the table water was not as cold as I'd like and would've been better if filtered. If you read this guys I'd highly recommend one of those chilled filtered sparkling water taps!
I'll be back again. And again.
E. D. L.Arán is one if not the best eatery in Kilkenny, The staff and premises are amazing. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. This is the "Eggs Benny" with brown butter and truffle Hollandaise. Immaculate for only €12!! If you're living in Kilkenny or just visiting. Get here swiftly!
l. d.Easily the best eggs benedict I've ever had! Lovely coffee and friendly staff. Everything was so delicious we walked across to their bakery on the other side of the street to take home some pastries for later. Highly recommend booking as it a very popular spot at weekends.

L. D.The Grilled Halloumi Budda Bowl. This comes with Butter Toasted Sourdough. Absolutely unreal! Lovely combination of textures and flavours! Easy to pre order online and collect. One of my favourite spots in Kilkenny City.

r.Hands down the best breakfast I've had, and it was out of a box!
S. W.We visited quite late in the day unfortunately, so they didn't have much left. What we got was good however. Their focaccia portions were huge for the price, great value. Coffee was OK, a little too foamy perhaps. Nice selection of soft drinks and grocery options too.
K. A.Amazing salads for lunch with so much variety. Baked goods are delicious. The cafe are handling social distancing very responsibly. Currently they have no indoor seating. I recommend preordering to collect to avoid a wait but then being able to look at the baked treats in store also has its advantages! :)

L. O. B.Went on recommendation and would recommend it to anyone. Be aware you may have to wait 30-40 mins for a table at the weekend. Go early to avoid waiting. There is a dog area in the far corner of the restaurant so hope you like dogs if you have to sit there.
Food is great, staff were excellent and prices are fair. What more could you want?

K. N.This place is fantastic. Have eaten there several times now and it's been great every time - amazing food using a lot of genuinely local ingredients, generous portions, excellent friendly service and a lovely relaxed athmosphere.
Hard to pick menu items to recommend as everything is good: the Cinnamon French Toast is brunch heaven, the Breakfast Platter will look like too much food when it arrives but you'll eat it all because it's so tasty, even ordinary sounding scrambled eggs are elevated to something special with perfectly cooked eggs on fantastic bread. And that's before the array of fresh baked bread and pastries which you can buy to take home. Buy a sausage roll - really, do it.
It's (not surprisingly) a busy place and not very big so you may have to wait for a table at peak times, but not for long and it's very well worth it.
