Nice place. The staff were watching TV while I was walking around looking for survice. We got roast beef was dissapointed, weird veg was chopped and cooked together so it all tastes of sprouts so I couldn't just pick them out. Great cocktails

Fantastic pub! Great menu and drink selection with friendly and attentive service. Peter, the bartender, was exceptional. Food was amazing. Save room for sticky toffee pudding for dessert!

I drank a glass of water there, I wish I didn't. I got charged 3 euros for it. Same as if order a glass of coke. However the staff very friendly and the food was nice

The staff did their best to accommodate us after we had been let down from the pub Lanigans. The Bar staff and manager really changed the night for us after a free space turn up. We had a great night in the pub and I look forward to returning again soon.

The service is great first class our waiter was such lovely and friendly guy. Very good at his job and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. I ordered the pizza and I wish I didn't. Too much topping and too thick not cut thin enough. Presentation looked great. However it was soft and soggy and chewy. It was undercooked and burned in all the wrong places. Too high of a temperature and the topping were just all over the place not finely sliced and just made a really bland pizza what a mess. Sorry Breathnach's that was not good food at all. My company liked their food they wouldn't complain sampled all 4 dinners and it was ok nothing special tbh which was so disappointing. I think my Jasmine tea was my favourite. Large portions you will not be disappointed by that. But the few final touches need working on. Your leather place mates were stuck to the table tops. That make me feel very put off. Chicken ceaser salad should not be served with a chicken leg as the meat really now that's just a no no and to an elderly person too! Let that pizza base cook longer, roll it thinner cook hotter and longer and less heavy topping and you would do a nice pizza. I ate to please my company but I would normally send something like that back in a heartbeat. I won't be back. It's Dublin prices at €14 euro for your pizza and a frozen pizza would have being much better. Sorry not for me at all.

We enjoyed a lovely meal and friendly welcome here on a Saturday afternoon. We will be back, definitely, on our next visit to the Marble city. It was so nice to meet friendly and attentive staff, we had just walked out of a nearby establishment where the staff seemed to view our presence as an unwelcome intrusion . Visited Breathnachs as part of a hen party.. signs in the window welcomed larger groups including hen/stage. They said they could accommodate us (14). Lots went wrong but we tried to allow for it as we are not "precious 😊 Orders came out wrong for 6 of us.. we waited patiently for this to be rectified and the food was still wrong. We would have allowed for this except for the rudeness of the man who served us. He was rude when informed of the further mistakes and argued unnecessarily about the fact that despite ordering a fillet (€26) I was served a sirloin which had been sent back to the kitchen 10 mins prior.. he also "recyled" chips from one of the other orders which would be been fine if they were untouched but they came back out with the peppercorn sauce still on..🤔 bottom line is.. if you have no customer service skills don't work in the bar/restaurant industry. To the lady who was trying to sort everything out.. you are a credit to the business.

Went in again for 1at lunch and had to have another,second time in there at lunch time and have to say the pints of Carlsberg are like gold and the same barman both times is very friendly and welcoming,highly recommend it!!

Very welcoming ,if you like a really good stake it's the place to go, the staff couldn't do enough for you,,,I believe they cater for parties or functions, big or small,and music at the weekend,next time I'm in town I'm definitely going back for another perfectly cooked stake , can't praise the chef's cooking enough well done to him/her,,,,and the bar man (I'm not sure maybe Indian) lived in Thurles for a while,he will know who I mean, treated us like it was his own restaurant, commendable,,, thanks again to him.
