J. H.Very accommodating staff, arrived a little early for our booking but the lady said it wasn't a problem. Lovely decor, great pint of Moretti and honestly the best chicken wings I've ever tasted!
Pizza was outstanding also. Would not hesitate to pay this place a visit again.

For dessert brownies with ice cream and cappuccino. Lovely food and waitress personal. Would highly recommend to visit not only for dinner.

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous 2 course meal each (€25 for two courses!).
I had the bruschetta to start and vegetarian lasagne for main.
My bruschetta was lovely and fresh and my vegetarian lasagne was delicious, filled with mushroom, aubergine, courgette, tomatoes, peppers and onion. It was the best vegetarian lasagne I've ever had.
My boyfriend had the chicken wings to start and the seafood pasta for main.
The chicken wings were crunchy and spicy and his main was delicious, fresh and lightly creamy with mussels, salmon and prawns.
I would highly recommend this restaurant, only downside was it was a bit noisy with a constantly ringing phone.

H.Very tasty food, great service and generous portions, it also had a great atmosphere when we went on a Thursday evening. The wine and dine deal, of a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine for 59.95 is very reasonable. Would recommend you try it out!

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and wonderful really. I ordered a Browne trifle and while I normally do not like trifles this was divine, light, fluffy, rich and moist with decicious cherries through it.

Whilst I realise it was busy a bit more attention to our table would of been appreciative. An hour from taking our order to finishing starters is a bit slow. We finally got mains and left shortly afterwards. No staff asked were we ok during meal and we had intended to have dessert but we sat with our finished plates on the table for about 15mins so then we decided to go. The manager on seemed pretty keen to take payment but barely asked was everything ok....
Such a shame as food was really good when it came but service would need to be improved if I was to return.
T. C.Didn't have to book, arrived, the mail waiter with the beard around 21 years old, was so so lovely! Wish we'd gotten his name because he was so chatty and friendly. Ordered a pizza with no ham and got a pizza with only ham but it was a simply mistake make by the chef as the waiter reread my order and was correct. This was grand as they were so polite and speedy with the replacement! The wine choice was great. TRY THE CHEESECAKE, literally one of the best cheesecakes I've had. Still dreaming of it. Definitely recommending it as it wasn't expensive for a young couple, had great service and selection!

S. G.Most places in Ireland have gluten free toast but I read online that this place served gluten free pizza and pasta so I had to try it. My husband and I shared the gluten free risotto and the tomato soup which came with a gluten free roll! So delicious. I could not talk my husband into ordering the gluten free pizza but I assume the regular pizza was good because he happily devoured the entire thing, which was huge. The gluten free pasta was light and tender...exactly how I like it. For dessert, we shared the gluten free brownie sundae (chocolate malt balls on the side for my husband). There seemed to be chocolate cream or mousse in there as well. It was the most amazingly dreamy dessert! The prices were really reasonable compared to other dinning options. We would have done the 3 course meal + bottle of wine for 65 euro special for two if we didn't have such a late lunch beforehand. This meal has been our gold standard for our trip so far. I wish we had found this gem before our last night in town.

The food was nicely presented and we had no complains. Wine list was overpriced as it was 7.95 per glass. I had an irish coffee and is was excellent. Even with the delay it was a pleasant evening. Lovely staff.

I have diabetes, so I can't have dessert, so I chose the 2-course option, a starter and a main course, €20.95. When I calculated the total cost of my options on the a la carte menu, it came to €21.90!! My total saving with the Early Bird: €0.95. That's ridiculous. You're saving absolutely nothing. So ultimately I felt deceived.

O. S.This is an excellent restaurant with friendly service and intimate decor. The food, however, is its biggest attraction. It serves food of the highest culinary standard in Kilkenny. The skill of the chef is at a level above the vast majority of establishments in Kilkenny. The prices, unlike the food, are very average. I highly recommend it, it stands apart from most other restaurants in Kilkenny if you want to experience haute cuisine rather than just a nice meal. It is ideal for special occasions such as a first date or small family "get together". I have been there at least a dozen times and the standard has always been consistently high. Once you try it, you will go back again and again..

El servicio muy correcto. De noche la atmósfera creada es muy romántica, con las luces tenues. Un ambiente tranquilo y sosegado.
