Good pizza isn't easy to come by, and more often than not one can expect to be bitterly disappointed, but this time we were very positively surprised. And as a fellow pizza chef I must say that you make a really good pizza Primo chef! 😏✊

Enjoyed a lovely meal in Primo last night. Food is beautiful. Deduct one star for the price of their portion of chips. €4.95 for frozen chips!!!! Think this is a bit pricey for frozen chips!

We enjoy the food here. However QR menu is a joke. No good at all. Was told by waitress that wiping menus after customers was a hassle. It takes less than 10seconds to do.yet 3 staff standing around doing nothing.

A warm, casual and inviting restaurant, very well suited to families. Lovely decor with authentic Italian vibes. Affordable menu and delicious cuisine. The only thing letting it down is customer service. On the day I visited (Sunday afternoon) it was moderately busy but well staffed for the number of customers. The person who took our order was the only one who was friendly, personable and who checked on us. But nobody checked on us during our meal and we had to wait a very long time to order. I would have liked additional drinks and I would have liked vinegar with my chips - neither I felt strongly enough about to get up and seek out service, but it would have been nice if staff came to check on us during the meal so that these things could have been requested. Again, the food was delicious and well priced, so for that reason I will likely return but I would hope for better customer service next time.

I've had really enjoyable experiences with Primo. Wonderful pizza with a plentiful supply of fresh toppings and plentiful cannot be over stated. You do feel like you are getting authentic cuisine by professionals and not a poor imitation of pizza from a chain. Certainly worth your time.

Amazing Italian food, they should invest in gluten-free pasta (I know Barilla and Rummo sell lovely gluten free pasta) as it really restricts the menu for people with dietary restrictions.

Every time I’m in Kilkenny I make sure to pick up a pizza here! THE best pizza in Ireland. Honestly, such high quality ingredients, really impressed. Tried the Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake today for the first time, unreal. A+++

Good food and service but shame about the toilets. Typical pasta and pizza served here, all well cooked and service top notch. After ordering I wanted to wash my hands before I ate - water came via one cold tap, no soap in dispenser and smell of urine that is normally associated with a public toilet. It's a pity as the rest of the restaurant seems clean. Will return but hope to see an improvement in the loos!

After a great spur of the moment decision, our daughter has a new favorite restaurant. I've also found the best pizza I have tasted since I travelled through Italy and visited Montepulciano. The staff will fall over themselves to accommodate you and to feed a family of four for less than €50 it won't break the bank. Their bruschetta starter, the carbonara, oh my God, the pizza. Prego

We are Canadians travelling to Ireland. The few weeks we have been here we have gotten pizza in ireland a few times and this place was refreshing because it seems to be cooked in a wood burn oven which makes it taste so much better, was tasty and also affordable.

It is more like a cantine than a restaurant. The meals were not made by order and the sauces did not taste well and were a little different than on the menu. You get a free ice cream.
