Fine Dining - Indian Style! Outdoor dining (but limited small courtyard so recommend to book or check ahead). No contact delivery & kerbside takeaway also available. Probably the tastiest Indian I’ve ever had. We had the samosas, vegetarian curry, chicken tikka and then lamb balti - all delicious.

One of the new ones in Kilkenny, the food menu is easy to navigate, not pages or food. Chiefs specials, vegetarian, grills and a good desert selection. All meat and vegetables sourced from the local community and county. Food is brilliant and tasty. Service is friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back again

Really enjoyed a meal here. Came in a group of 3, myself, my partner and our 3 year old. The waiting staff were all very nice and friendly. I had a murg chicken for starter and a lamb balti with peshwari naan and rice. My partner had samosa to start and a masala for main with rice and cheesy naan. Good size portions. Very tasty food. 2 course early bird available every night until 9pm was great value at €18.95. Had a pint of cobra beer to wash it all down. A great meal. A real hidden gem on the edge of town.

Best Indian in Kilkenny and the best Indian I have tried in Ireland. Prices are higher than a usual Curry House. However, the food is really tasty so don't mind paying more. Service is fast and the food is served piping hot. Great ! I will be back

This is a wonderful Indian Restaurant. The staff are very friendly and make you feel most welcome, and the food is of exceptionally high quality. My family eat fairly regularly at this restaurant and the standard has never dropped; it is consistently high. The take-away food is as fresh and full of flavour as the food we are served when we eat there. The restaurant iitself is modern, clean with a relaxing atmosphere. We are very lucky to have such a high quality Indian Restaurant in Kilkenny.

Friendly staff but the food doesn't live up to expectations. The presentation is excellent but it needs more effort on the taste and texture. Naan breads are dry, the chicken is tough and the lamb needed a bit longer in the oven to be at its best.

My family and I love this restaurant. My kids are 3 and 2 and they cater to all our palates. The food itself is fresh, flavoursome, seasonal and vibrant. The takeaway menu is of the same high standard as well. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The service is good and they are also child friendly. They also have a good drinks list. Good location for a meal out in the town. A must place to eat when out and about and looking for a good Indian, whether you are local or just visiting Kilkenny.

Too much of oil and edible colours used in all kinds of vegetable and meat used recipes. Not upto the mark is the taste or looks. Very small place downstairs and almost same upstairs which can be reserved for small groups or parties. Just good for small bites though. Credit or debit cards accepted. Rest room is available for men and women. Easy to locate, on the main street. Service is o.k. Not a true to taste Indian authentic restaurant, but you can order sort of spicy food if you like too. Very kind and helpful staff but communication is not at par. Ambience is just o.k like a casual one, no historic value though. Kilkenny has more choices for food too. Take away available, with kids menu too. View is just average from here as on a busy street. Parking is available for nominal charges and the restaurant is not very expensive.

Royal Spice have a gluten free range to choose from, reasonably priced, I ordered Sheek Kebab and Lamb Bhuna with Pilau Rice take away in very well sealed containers, no spills or leaks on my 15kl drive home. My Food was delicious..They cater for Vegetarians All their ingredients are sourced locally..They also have a online order...

I ordered the extra spicy Paal curry, spicier than vindaloo. When they say extra spicy they mean business. It is so incredibly spicy, that my Indian friend was swearing on the toilet for half an hour. The feeling in your backside after eating this Curry is so agonizing, that I had to do an exorcism on my arse. It was absolutely delicious

It has been 4 or 5 years since I last ate there and my favourite,chicken korma was still as tasty, creamy and coconutty as the first time I ate there . Husband's chicken tikka was also smashing. Service was also great.

Great Indian restaurant: The dishes were all delicious, the staff was very nice and accommodating: they were really helpful with finding vegan dishes for us. The selection of beers was a bit small, but the food made up for it. I will be going back if I'm ever in Kilkenny again.

From the food to the atmosphere, this place is bursting with charisma and sets it apart from the rest. would highly recommend the jalfresi, a common dish in many restaurants but its unique in this restaurant in taste and experience. if you love curry and want quality great tasting food, dont miss out and get in and visit royal spice and try it for yourself! you wont be disappointed

Best Indian in Kilkenny by far! Love this restaurant! I have eaten there many times and cannot recommend it enough!They offer a great variety of really good Indian dishes, fresh and delicious. The quality of the produce is very good and they use Irish chicken and lamb etc unlike many other Asian restaurants. My favourites would be the Trout Pakora made with local trout, House Spiced Chicken, Murg Rajma and one can't forget their delicious Naan... peshwari especially. There also is a take away menu. They offer an excellent value for money. It's a good and busy spot especially at the weekends. Great for a night out among friends.

No man was ever born into this world with such a passion and love for indian food as myself. It isn't just that I love indian food for the taste of it, I love the plop of korma onto my plate... I love it. I love to listen to it. I love to see the cream on my poppadoms. I love the first powerful, violent impact of a mouthful of vindaloo, as I throw it back in me and as it hits the mark below. I chase it then with some yogurt, which is even more beautiful still. Indian in moderation is one of the most ridiculous statements ever made. One must eat a little more than moderation. My problem with Indian is this: I was born with a liking for it, as I said. I have a woman who was never too hard on me over Indian cuisine...
