Wonderful family running restaurant. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. The food is changing according to the seasons. The spring lamb is truly of a good quality. They also offer locally beer and cider which is a good taste of Killarney. Make sure to have a reservation before going.

This was one of our best meals in Ireland. I had the lamb shank, it was so good it ruined lamb shank for the rest of the trip. My wife had shepard's pie and it was also really amazing. They carry Killarney Brewery beers, which is great. Service was excellent. Make sure you get a reservation, though, we saw several people turned away because it was full.

THE BEST restaurant in Killarney, hands down. We only discovered this gem during covid, but it has fast become our favourite place to order from. There's something for everyone and my whole family loves the food- even my picky younger brother who is very hard to please. It's our new go-to for birthdays and occasions, or even just for when no-one feels like cooking. The staff are so lovely and friendly; they even gave me a complimentary brownie with ice cream for my birthday back in April! The food is just amazing, cooked to perfection and really wholesome; you feel as though you're eating a home cooked meal instead of a takeout. The chips are always cooked perfectly and the portions are so generous. The white sauce they use on the vegetables is probably the best sauce I've ever tasted, sometimes i order it on the side so i can dip my chips into it- it makes for an oddly tasty combo. If you're visiting Killarney and don't know where to eat or if you're even just a local like me looking for a new spot, try Cronins!

We had to book this place and we can see why. The service was great, the food brilliant and the overall experience was really good. It was my birthday and our wedding anniversary. They made it very special and wrote happy birthday and anniversary on our desert plates. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Cronin's was definitely the best food we had during or 6-7 days in the Kerry area.In particular the lasagne was top class. Chips were fresh and very tasty and the service was excellent from the get go. We also opted for the Mint Aero Cheesecake which was just Unreal! On recommendation whilst visiting Killarney we dined at Cronins restaurant. A family run establishment, with attentive friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Food is freshly cooked and was delicious with a great choice from the fantastic menu. Their homemade soup and brown bread is amazing, as was everything else! Service excellent and a cosy friendly atmosphere. We were not rushed and were able to relax and enjoy our meal and drinks. The restaurant is impeccable and all COVID guidelines were adhered to. Of our four days in Killarney, we ate here twice as it was so good and reasonably priced. Do please pay a visit to enjoy their great cuisine and service in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. You will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for great food, friendly service at a reasonable price then you must visit Cronins Restaurant. Both myself and my partner enjoyed garlic mushrooms for starters and we both had steak cooked to perfection with two potato options and as much fresh and delightful veggies as we wanted. For desert we had baileys cheesecake and Apple Pie....delightful. Mandy provided us with excellent and attentive service and was a delight to see such outstanding customer focus and service....I could not recommend this restaurant enough, definitely one of the best places to eat in Killarney. I would advise you to book in advance in order to avoid disappointment....Well done Cronins....we will be back. Thank you

My husband and I dined here on two occasions over the course of our visit to Killarney. On both of the nights we visited, we were greeted by the Manager at the door and were seated upstairs. Our servers on both evenings were Nathan and Laura who were simply superb on both visits. They were very friendly and polite and made us feel so welcome. The food was exceptional on both evenings, my favourite being the shepherds pie. Also a great selection of wine and spirits on offer. A must visit when in killarney, cannot wait to return again.

My husband and I visited from the states and he came down with a 24 hour stomach bug. There are very few places that have to go food. Once I told the owner my husband wasn't well he was so accommodating. He made a special grilled cheese to bring back to the hotel and made our night. We visited here last week. The staff are friendly enough. Decor is old fashioned but charming. I like all the old photos on the walls. But the menu is limited and generic at best. The food is what I'd expect to be served in my Nan's house, not a restaurant. Glazed pork with apple sauce arrived smothered in a gravy, no apple sauce, served with carrots & turnip, and boiled brussel sprouts. Chips are only ok. Chowder was good, if you like smoked fish. The best thing we had was the battered fish. It was grand like, but I cannot see why it would be one of the top rated restaurants in Killarney. I visited two others that were far better. Maybe it is a tourist thing? Maybe they like the "traditional food". They did give a basket of soda bread with the meal. Though there was nothing particularly wrong with the place, I wouldn't go again!
