R. M.Went to Malarkeys a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday and I can highly recommend! The menu is has a great twist on good Irish food. I had the monkfish and it was the best I have ever had! The vegetables and potatoes served with it were perfectly cooked and the corn on the cob was a lovely addition on the place. Portions were generous, but the taste of everything was simply exquisite. Siobhan was absolutely brilliant and very tentative ensuring we were ok for everything. I had contacted her prior to arrival about organising birthday candles on a dessert and she was most helpful. If you looking for good, fresh Irish food, perfectly prepared, look no further. It's clear that the chef has a passion for his cooking. Thanks to all at Malarkey's and we will definitely be back.
G. M.A lovely experience, Killarney's hidden gem. The food is full of flavour, different flavours that you won't experience anywhere else in town. The service was fantastic(Katie, I think!) If you are looking for something that's not the regular fare, visit Seamus and you will not be disappointed.
e. f.Discovered Malarkey tonight. Don't regret it at all!! The food is DELICIOUS, we both had beef, different cuts and different sauces, both amazing. staff is so nice and helpful. It is now our place to go for every single trip to Killarney
N. M.It was ok. Very poor quality of tap water - we stayed here in Killarney hotel and able to drink sink water here, but in the restaurant it was really awful. It is The first restaurant in Ireland with really chlorinated tap water . So you need to order smth else to drink. Maybe our table was not the best one - near kitchen, near toilets and rear garden- a lot of people moving all times. Smells from kitchen were like smth burned and even fire alarm was turn on. Waitress said that it is happened all times. That it really weird for romantic evening. BTW food was good, scallops worth to try. Sushi is really good also

C. O. S.I ordered the Wagu striploin and it was the best steak I've had, it was perfection. The Irish tapas were so unique and tasty. The outdoor space is shaded and perfect for outdoor dining. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to our little girl. The dessert was delious. I got the toffee apple dish and it was out of this world.

Would highly recommend the Blue Fin Tuna/Ocopus to start and the Duck or Beef Wagu for mains. Siobhán was so helpful and created such a wholesome experience, and their personal touch for our anniversary was so kind. 5 ★ to our new favourite restaurant.

The chef has created a range of meals that are beyond anything I have ever tasted! His curiosity to try new things with different foods and create something mouth watering and incredible! We were also told that he grows his own produce in his garden making the whole experience so much more personal. I will 100% be returning on my next trip to Killarney! It was delightful and is an absolute credit to the Kerry food scene! A must try!

O. N.Any time with Seamus entails great food and a warm welcoming. The restaurant is absolutely amazing. The layout is perfect those romantic evenings or family gatherings. The tables are plenty large enough for everyone s plates and glasses.
On those warm evenings take a walk out to the garden and sip on a glass of wine or chill and relax.
Essentially the place is fabulous.

U.This is loving food...the blue fin tuna was out of this world, as was every single element of the plate. It was as good as our first date in Seamus's irreverent Ivory tower 20 years ago. My son said Malarkeys was the best steak he ever had. I suppose great chefs dont take food (or customers) for granted, their instincts just keep getting better.

As a group we had a great variety of tasting the menu. Hands down the King of Steaks is the Wagu Striploin, it just melts in your mouth after its had a lifetime of massages, lucky cow 😉 the desserts are so different in the best way possible. Outstanding meal and the wine was superb also. The waitress gave us great detail on the menu & the chef/owner Seamus his passion for what he does pours out into his menu.

I was there with my girlfriend while we were doing a roadtrip around the west of Ireland. Malarkey's was the perfect escape from all the regular pub food we had gotten used to.
The presentation of the dishes was excellent and sophisticated. The dishes were exciting, new and delicious.
Would absolutely recommend for those looking for a break from chicken goujons and chips!

M. G.Wow! What an unexpected delight to find Malarkeys on a wet Sunday lunchtime! A 3 course meal for €25, and all dairy and wheat free - yes I am an awkward customer!! I had never had Bonito before - artfully arranged in a bamboo leaf - but it was absolutely delicious. My partner was equally impressed with his meal with wheat and dairy!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Perfect for forthcoming Christmas frivolities methinks!! And of course at any other time! Good luck Seamus!

O.I'm loathe to recommend this place, purely out of selfish reasons, as it will only get harder to get a table but in the pursuit of honesty this has to be one of the best places to eat in Killarney. Had a meal here on the 7th of August with family and friends. 6 of us in total and we did not want to leave. The chef is a genius with his food and the service was professional and friendly without being intrusive. My new favourite place in Killarney.
