There was a nice selection of cold and hot food. It was very clean. The gift shop was very good.

Had dinner at this place today it was lovely . There was a long queue at the serving counter but the well organised staff went through it quickly. There is a good choice of meals weather you want a hot meal or a sandwich . The hot meals are always lovely .The place is always clean and well kept.

Lovely lunch great staff and spotlessly clean and plenty sanitizer ,The ladies attending the cleaning of the tables work very hard as customers can be so dirty like leaving there used seviette on the tables and expect staff to pick them up little bags should be provided for this rubbish. Can recommend the full meal plates for 11€. Beef was not dry and the portion was sizable. Served with fresh side dishes of potatoes (mashed and full), different beans, carrots and a red sauce. They also served lasange with minced meat or spinace (vegetarian) with the same side dishes and a wide variety of cakes. Plenty of tables outside and also a few outside with a view of the garden.

Very nice food, not to busy. The restaurant had a very nice and friendly atmosphere, it was letting in a lot of natural light and had a sun room style place to sit without being outside. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a cantine style place that you would get your food at, (you would choose from the options available and place it on a tray to order later). All and all a lovely experience and would be recommend

Food is fabulous here! Go early to lunch as the queue can be long..around half 12. You can have something small like a scone etc if you're going there in the morning. Again go as early you can to avoid queues!

It's a little disappointing to find such a boring restaurant in this premier tourist attraction. After you enjoy the stunning beauty of the gardens and park, you have to collect up a tray, queue up and buy something generic with chips and then struggle to find a seat somewhere. It bills itself as a modern restaurant. It's anything but.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff. Even with a huge crowd the queue moved quickly and there was plenty of seating available. They serve hot food, sandwiches, pastries, salads, sweets, icecream and teas. Beautiful views of the muckross house, gardens and mountains. Nice place to relax and accessible by walking, bike or horse and carriage

A home from home to us - this restaurant is busy winter and summer and is always good value with a limited selection of hot meals available until 4pm as well as soup, sandwiches, salads, delicious cakes and various beverages. Children are welcome and there is outdoor seating overlooking the lovely garden.

Very pleasant place to eat after a lovely walk in the magnificent gardens, lots of dishes on offer, hot and cold, different types of drinks, plenty of space, a warm welcome. And a nice souvenir store right next door. Where you can find items at all prices. A place to absolutely go

A few steps from the famous Muckross House they surround, the gardens are a wonderful sensorial experience for their colours, shapes, scents and elegance. A place of joyful quiet that is worth knowing. The diner under the gardens is excellent and not too expensive, extremely comforting if it was raining or cold outside. There is also a shop selling gadgets and local craft items and clothing, as well as the inevitable umbrellas and water swatters.
