We've been to this fabulous restaurant a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. The food, staff, atmosphere of the place is second to none. The lovely Caitriona from the Czech Republic looked after us very well and deserves a mention. We always recommend Stonechat to friends heading to Killarney and will continue to do so. Can't wait to come back again soon. Keep up the great work guys.

The restaurant looked like all fashion/romantic with candles lights. Really good service and amazing food. Everything was so fresh and well cook. Vegetarian, dairy free and vegan option available.

The place was fully booked and we were lucky enough to catch the last table available, even if we had to stay outside. The service was nice and fast and the food was very good. I disagree with the €€€ showing on Google and other comments saying it's expensive. We have walked past quite a few places and menus outside were exactly in line with the prices. I took the fish and chips and my wife had the Chicken with stir fried vegetables, both were very tasty and we left very satisfied. Recommended.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. Excellent meal. Lamb shank, filet mignon were both wonderful. The desserts! Toffee, cheesecake (made with Dingle gin!) We're both delicious! Everything was enhanced by our waitperson, Steven! Highly recommend!!

My Daughter has very specific dietary requirements and the Stonechat Restaurant were sympathetic and produced a lovely meal for her. We first visited in August 2019 (pre-Covid), had an enjoyable meal then. We holiday in Killarney annually and I'm pleased to say, that they are still providing an exceptional service in August 2024. We really enjoyed our visit and will defintely be eating there again, before we head back to the UK. Offering excellent Service and Food, Highly Recommended and as such, be sure to reserve a table!

We discovered the small restaurant during a walk through Killarney. We called to reserve a table and got 2x great seats. Our waiter of the evening was Ronan both times. A very courteous young gentleman. The service was fast and super. The starter was very good and the main course excellent. Had tagliatelle and classic fish & chips and were delighted. A very successful evening with nice ambience, friendly service and very good cuisine. We can definitely recommend this place.

Ambience was good, service was good but the food was just OK. Spicy wings were not that spicy nor with a traditional sauce as was expected but WERE served with a legit Bleu cheese dip. Stir fry chicken was a bit overdone. Burgers had a good flavour but a bit dry. Had high hopes for this slightly hidden location.

Had an amazing time here!! Had our dog with us and got a seat outside.The staff were so kind and accommodating and even brought a water bowl for the puppy! Cocktails were amazing. This is 1 of my favourite restaurants in killarney.. But unfortunately my last visit was disappointing ' staff were lovely but our starter's and main courses were all over cooked.. Heavily looking for a continental-like terrace in the city, ultimately found it in an alley off Main Street which we Dutch characterise as 'gezellig' . Wonderful service, a.o. by the owner recognizing us days later by my 'big cigar'. And the fantastic kitchen which is a breath of fresh air compared by the pub food everywhere else. A place to remember and recommand.
