Genuine warm and welcoming Cafe, in a great location at the gap of Dunloe.
Stove is lit and one can warm up after a stroll through the gap.
Staff are friendly and helpful. We have had the Irish breakfast and lunch there frequently … alway excellent.

We stopped off at The Coffee Pot for refreshments after our trip through the Killarney National Park and The Gap of Dunloe yesterday at Lunchtime. Even though there was a nice sized crowd there, the indoor and outdoor tables were spread far enough apart for social distancing and there was a one way system in place to go inside, hand sanitizer at the door, to order food and back outside through another door to sit comfortably at our table while waiting on our order. The service was fast, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, I had the Quiche Salad and chips, or delightful, as my wife stated about her Flat bread Goat Cheese chilli marmalade with Salad. It was lovely to meet the owner, Maria, and after a pleasant chat with her, she was very helpful with her tips on places to visit and things to do around Killarney during the rest of our stay in the region. We will be back.

The restaurant is a the base of the trail to Gap of Dunloe . After hiking we decided to take some rest and enjoy the regional food . Prices are good and food is really nice . Try apple pie and one of the soups .

Terrific food and service at very reasonable prices. Great food and decor serve as a perfect way to start your morning or enjoy a tasty lunch.
Maria, the cafe’s proprietor, is the friendliest hostess one could ask for. A+ for hospitality.
