J. H.Stranded Beach Cafe is located on an elevated position overlooking garrylucas beach at Garretstown near the Old Head of Kinsale.The food is Mediterranean style,predominantly Spanish Tapas. There is a nice selection of wines and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are courteous and attentive and the host was friendly and engaging. I will definitely return.
A. M. O.1st visit and it was fab. Best chowder all summer... fully loaded with fish & veg. Yum. Lovely brown bread served with it. They have a very inviting menu. Will have to go back to try out more tempting dishes on menu. The service was also really good; very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to get an outside table as we had our dog with us too. Lovely view (slightly restricted) of Garrylucas beach.

A. H.Yum. Dropped by with no reservation and got a table for 4. Lept pizza warm for us as some were late. Oven baked pizzas and tapas were fab. Coffee and brownie were divine. Great to get a visit in before they close for January. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

R. Y.It's a seasonal cafe. Literally a few feet from the ocean. It's a great place to take a walk on the beach and have a break halfway between Garrylucas and Garrett's town beach's. Lovely family run place. Not fancy but just right for its location..... Relaxed.
