Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about suitable vegan products. I had poppadoms, vegetable dopiaza, sag aloo, boiled rice and chipathi. Very tasty. And I was given my leftovers to take home. Would definitely go again when passing and happily recommend. Staff were very attentive and polite. Excellent service.

During a weekend stay in Letterkenny we ordered a takeaway from Shapla using Just eat app. The app is Very easy to use with good descriptions of all items on the menu. The estimated the was 45minutes but it arrived in little over 25mins. We ordered the chicken vindaloo and lamb Sag both of which were really tasty. Would definitely use again

Stayed in clanree and we were looking for something nice to eat. We Spotted shapla driving past and decided to try the following day after a disappointing meal. We looked at the reviews and decided to try. We got in and we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere from the start. Prices excellent value for money generous servings of poppadoms and ordered food to share. Food was excellent. Wish I had of had a bigger belly to fit more in.... Service excellent, polite and made us feel welcome. Hence this review. Usually don't give reviews but this deserved it. If u like Indian food then give it a go....

Had a really nice meal on the spot. You can order take away as well, but the place is lovely and so is the service, casual and chic. Food quality was really nice. I try a lot of different Indian food, this is one of the good ones.

We eat take away from here once a week and have done for many many years. The food is consistently good and the staff members are friendly, pleasant and efficient, hard working and professional. The ingredients are very good with good quality meats, chicken and lamb especially. Recommend Chicken Tikka Shashlik with Basmati rice, Tarka daal, Channa Panir and Saag panir. Plus a few poppadums. Stayed at Clanree hotel and was an easy walk to this restaurant...turned out to be the most amazing Indian food I have eaten in Ireland. Service was prompt and we enjoyed the sauces they continued to bring out. I would drive to Letterkenny from Dublin just to eat at this restaurant. Incredible food.

Just had a takeaway this time. Meal was mostly good, but the naan was thick and stodgy and ended up being dumped. We had excellent naan in the past when we ate in the restaurant. Why the difference? Do they send out their worst ones in the hope that nobody complains?

I'm in my 60s and eaten curry around the world, this was up with the best, food and service top marks, little miffed when I later noticed free bottle of house wine if I spend over €50, but the food made up for that and ill be back, for the bottle! Lol.

Had a beautiful meal here July 20, just after lockdown. Covid-19 precautions clearly visible but not oppressive. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Decor and atmosphere lovely and relaxing. Food (omg) to die for, absolutely delicious. Had a wonderful eating out experience, feeling safe and cared for while enjoying a beautiful meal. 4 different mains ordered to the table, each perfect. The service is great and we also responded to requests that were not on the menu. Furthermore, we also responded lovingly to our children's orders ... who don't speak English very well and placed their orders on their own. (Original) Dieses Restaurant ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Von außen lässt es nicht erahnen, wie gemütlich es drinnen eingerichtet ist. Die Bedienung ist klasse und ging bei uns auch auf Wünsche ein, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Des Weiteren wurde auch liebevoll auf die Bestellung unserer Kinder reagiert...die nicht wirklich gut Englisch sprechen und ihre Bestellung allein aufgaben. Daumen hoch und weiter so. 1 A!! ;)) Sry ich vergaß: das Essen war super und nicht zu teuer!
