A. T.We had some excellent food. Right up there with the best. A little hidden gem in a back street in Letterkenny
C. C. P.Food was delicious and staff was thoughtful and nice to us. The scallops and the goat cheese starters were both amazing, as well as the vanilla cheesecake dessert. However, the temperature for the sirloin was a little bit overcooked. Also, even it is protocol it would be nice that the wine is not served only to the male to taste as we were two drinking it.
Anyway, it was a great visit and we would definitely repeat and recommend this place.

V. H.We visit this restaurant regularly and it never fails to deliver. Always a warm welcome with excellent service. A great choice and frequently add new dishes, on Sunday we ordered the stonebass and the venison which was absolutely amazing from the accompanying sauces to the presentation. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to and really deserves a Michelin star.
D. M.Excellent atmosphere, delicious food presented very professionally. Came out with mini cottage pies before our meal and a selection of breads. As it was my mother's birthday they presented her with a free brownie, ice cream and raspberry based dessert (the name of which I do not know) which was a kind touch. Furthermore, the staff were very attentive and polite. All added up this created a very enjoyable dining experience for our family.
S.Both the food and service were spectacular. Three of our guests had gluten intolerances and were provided with the most beautiful gluten free bread along with their starters. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have had, cannot recommend enough!

R. B.We went to the Lemon Restaurant for a family reunion on a Saturday evening. We were a group of 20, the service was very smooth, all the plate arrived at the same time. I really enjoyed combination of locally produced ingredients, excellent cooking and presentation.
A. A.The move to the bigger place was definitely a smart idea as it doesn't feel as claustrophobic anymore.
The complimentary bread starter and quail egg and goat cheese amuse bouch was scrumptious.
My risotto starter was perfect! I emptied the plate with no remorse.
My lamb was the right temperature but taste like it needed a touch of seasoning. As it was my main course, I was slightly let down after the amazing start to dinner, however it was okay.
In all, an amazing experience.

S. B.First impressions of the external of the establishment weren't much. However everything after that was a pleasant surprise. Very impressive food. We had a three course 'a lá Carte' dinner. We had some amuse bouche and breads served while we waited for our starters. All courses were very well executed. The house red was good. The staff were all very polite and attentive.It would best be described as fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Good value for money. 2starters,2mains, dessert, bottle of wine and a port for afters for €104. Would highly recommend.

My girlfriend is vegan so we asked for a vegan option without prior notification, which not only they had, but it was extremely tasty, and much ahead of what other restaurants would usually serve.
It was our first time out since February and honestly couldn't have been a better night out!

D. M.An early Valentine's night dinner for us as I am away on Friday, scattered hearts and candlelight was a special touch. It was warm cosy and comfortable, very welcoming. Staff were attentive and well informed regarding food choices. Our meal was excellent from start to finish, I had the Arancini and loved it, great flavours and textures from the mushroom and nuts and the perfect hit of saltiness 🙂 we will definitely dine here again and would have no hesitation in recommending it. ⭐
M. Á. G.We came here because it's rated as the best restaurant in Letterkenny by TripAdvisor. It's the only one I've been to but I'm sure it's true. We loved the food and the service. They surprised us with some very nice appetizers first. Then I had a really good chorizo rissoto for starter (100% recommended), a steak and an amazing chocolate pave. The place is following all the government covid19 guidelines and I felt safe. The service was wearing face covering and they recommended places to visit in the county. I will definitely come back if I ever visit Letterkenny again. My only advice for the restaurant is to make the entrance more visible as it took a while to realise what the restaurant was from the outside.

I recommend, we ate here before and came across 4 counties to come back again to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Good for that special occasion.

Three of us had muscles starters but all served cold although tasted ok. Very easily rectified if they preheated the bowls so the sauce didn't instantly go cold.

A. V.I've dined here a few times. I love the noone's chicken dish. The chocolate mousse was my favorite dessert from here. It's a very posh environment which immediately made me uncomfortable the first visit as I didn't know ahead of time how posh it was. No one treated me as if I didn't belong and soon enough I felt comfy cozy even though I was severely under dressed. The food was delicious and I'll be sure to go once more before I go!
C. R.Came here for our anniversary dinner. Christmas menu was on and has a great selection to choose from at very reasonable prices for the quality of food served. We went with an Argentinian Riesling which was nice and fresh while not being too sweet. Small bites were served before and after the starter which were a great little treat. Can't recommend the place enough, get in there!

O. D.Recommended by my B&B host as a great place to eat, and he was spot on. Beautiful presentation - we do eat with our eyes first! Ambience is white linen, but no stiffness here. Service is smooth, unfussy and professional. I had the organic mussels to start. They were tender, sitting in a perfectly salted herby cream sauce, just how they should be. Followed by monkfish and slow cooked pork belly. Again a star dish. Seasoned perfectly. Dessert was An Dúlamán Donegal Gin Cheeesecake. Attention to detail is supreme. A blackberry, locally sourced, sitting on the cheesecake burst with flavor. Also, I should mention in these covid times, tables are well spaced, everything feels fresh and clean, menus are contactless and the staff are all wearing appropriate ppe. A gem.
T.Always a treat to visit. Interesting menu choices with lots of ideas and flavour combinations. The menu is smaller than some but there is something here for almost everyone. Definitely fine dining and not run of mill. Presentation is top notch and the new premises while in an odd location are much better on the inside that the old one on the main street.
You can see the influence in the food from the likes of MasterChef and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
Can't wait to go back.
p. t.Superb. Just superb. Excellent atmosphere and service, but the food was really, really first rate. A delicious (complimentary) starter of shepherd's pie was a nice opener but the main course was the highlight. I wanted beef cheeks but they had none left, so I went for the pork belly - it was honestly the best I've eaten. My wife's meal was almost as good. We ate elsewhere the night before and the food was acceptable but only a bit cheaper. I honestly think that if you're in Letterkenny you should eat in this restaurant. I don't think I'll be back in Letterkenny, but I'll always remember this meal.
