Reviews of Thyme Out Cafe/Tea Rooms
A wonderfull place for a cup of tea, coffie etc and why not have one of there cakes, sandwitches, bunns, you will be spoilt for choice. The staff are realy helpfull and friendly and the tea seats are realy pritty.
Delicious! I love the food in here. I had chorizo and smoked cheese frittata with a massive assorted side salad for lunch yesterday, and goat's cheese and spinach tart with a similarly copious helping of fresh side salads today. Portions are always really generous, and prices are reasonable.
This is a lovely little eatery, it's cosy and perhaps a little squished due to its location but you'll forgive all that once you receive your tasty food and beverage. There are mains that are served with salads, some you'll be used too others are unusual but all are very tasty. There are also plenty of homemade cakes and bakes to indulge in if something sweet takes your fancy
Excellent food and very clean and friendly staff. Highly recommended
BUT was very disappointed today 5th july 28 I visited with 2 grandchildren with a kindship group and I sat my two grandchildren at a table while I ordered my coffee and their cakes when the owner asked the kids to move from the table. I stated they were with me when he told me he wanted it for ones that ordered food before me. I was mortified and left. When the kids cried for their cakes I took them back and asked a girl cud I take the corner table and let the kids sit there while i placed my order. While waiting in line to order the same staff member asked a lady at the food counter where she wud like to sit. Would she like the corner table where i stated I got permission to take that table where he made a rude gesture OK OK with his two hands up instead of saying I'm sorry. But he clearly seen the same two children he removed earlier..
While paying my bill he took my money and did nt even apologise... Disgusted.
