Place was absolutely lovely inside, the tress the lighting was 100% perfect wouldn’t change the lay out at all. Food again was perfect, wouldn’t change it! Loved every single bite from the starter to my main, unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of my brownie but it was so so good! My only complaint was that the waiting staff was very slow… so much so I had to call the person running the front door to ask could I order my dessert, maybe it was just busy, but can say it was lovely.

We had a lovely meal here last night. The atmosphere and the food, all great, it's also a really good place for a family meal - kids options were great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. In particular, the steak is a must. Delicious. Thanks all 👍

Dropped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Clean new decor, just built. Easy car park. Great location on main road. Interesting poems written on the walls. Friendly staff with good service. Very clean well thought out toilets. Mesh decking under the urinals for the sloppy gents with bad aim!! Great idea. Seafood chowder soup very tasty with delicious brown bread. Tomato soup home made with great flavour. Rhubarb tart with ice cream hit the spot with nice lumps of rhubarb. Fish and chips. Light batter with fluffy white cod inside. Excellent tartare sauce and mushy peas. 2 cocktails for €10 and Heineken for €3 seems very good value. Well worth a visit.

We had mixed feelings about this place. The prices are on par with Marco Pierre Whites restaurant, Rolys and the Shelbourne Hotel. This was the standard of service we expected. Service was a little slow, drinks could have been topped up more and the waiters could have been more on the ball. For Starters: The chicken caesar wasn’t much to write home about. It was bland and uninteresting. The pork belly starter was absolutely delicious. The beetroot salad was tasty but nothing exceptional. Moving on to Mains: The steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The Sea Trout lacked flavor, it wasn’t as fresh as one would expect at the price we paid for it. The pork was well done and the crackle was delicious however the portion was meager... For dessert: The Panna Cotta had the perfect jiggle but it had a prosecco taste which didn’t work. The chocolate tart was unreal, really well executed.

Attended for second time on a Sunday, staff on reception went out of their way to accommodate us as we had an elderly relative with mobile difficulties, friendly and efficient service, excellent food which was good value for money !

We stayed here Saturday 13th November 2021, what a treat it’s an absolutely wonderful restaurant, food cooked to perfection, staff well trained, and very pleasant and welcoming, and a very reasonable price structure for the food and drink, we parked the Motorhome overnight with management approval, will definitely return on our travels following the Wild Atlantic Way

Absolutely great place to eat & drink. We were on holidays in Donegal from Cork & choose to eat here while staying local. What a good decision we made. The food was just delicious. We were at a very comfortable table enjoying our drinks while we felt safe in the environment. Staff were courteous & very pleasant. The restaurant is beautifully designed. I would highly recommend it for a meal.

Visited this new restaurant while on short break in the area and thank God we did. Firstly the place itself is stunning and the food was to die for. Steak was great and the wife said best fish and chips she has ever had. The brownie was yum. Priced very reasonable will definitely be back.

It was my first visit to the tree house. The building is wonderful and it created a level of expectancy for my dining experience. The menu and the meal didn't match the restaurant decor at all. The menu is too limited and the quality of the food didn't meet my expectations. That said I would hom again with the optimism that it will improve.

Not overly keen on the open kitchen, decor was basic compared to the outside of the building, it was like walking into a old department store was very busy with the decor and layout. Food was excellent, ideal portion sizes, well presented, soup was a bit salty, too much bullion? But all in all good value and good food.

Definitely one of the nicest restaurants I have been in. I had the chicken coujons and my husband had the cod both were delicious and the meringue with white chocolate mousse and apple was to die for. Can't wait to return.

What a great place! We chose the Treehouse as a venue for a very special family occasion and were delighted that we did! The service provided by a number of staff (Cara in particular), was exceptional. Chris helped us to design a menu to suit all our needs and as a result, all 22 of us had a range of really well-prepared, beautifully tasting food. Thank you for a great evening.

Lovely place but let down by the food, went for a birthday treat for first time today and was really impressed by the decor and friendly staff. However our food was way below par and in one case was ineatible. In fairness once it was highlighted to the manager there were no issues in giving refund and offering an apology. This somewhat redeemed the visit and may give it another chance we all can have off days .

This place is bright, airy and stylishy finished both inside and out. The food is pretty good also, more GF options than most places, which is great to see. Delicious food and great decor, but not a place for a good meal with friends for gaming, as you have to sit over the giant television blasting the sports game, or over the live band. If it's a pub, great, but not when it's advertised as a place to eat.

Nice place wasn't to keen on the food quality (Edit)Visited The Treehouse for Sunday Lunch.I ordered the soup for starters which was fine.The issue I had was with the Main Course of Roast Sirloin of Beef.The taste was not to my liking,not to sure if it was the gravy/jus that came along with the meal that made it taste funny or was it the meat itself.Apart from that the whole experience was good,service was promp,location good.
