My favourite place for italian food. Everytime I'm in limerick i go there with my boyfriend. The freakshakes are soooo good and the pasta and burgers are delicious. And I can't forget about how nice and friendly the staff is! Definitely would recommend.

Such great service. Really warm and chatty. A pleasant place if you are waiting for the bus from Henry Street! Themed hot chocolates very well presented, exactly like online photographs! Good bar selection also. Pizza was good, great balance of ingredients, cheese etc. The only drawback was some of the GF pizza was still cold. However, we really enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.

Jason served Beautiful food followed with magnificant freaky Shake and Cocoa. Leave space for Them since they are a meals in themselves. From the outside it looks like there are only High chairs. However all the tables in the back are lower. The Waiter Jason made the visit good since he was always there and Suggested that we could get the rest Of the freaky Shake in a take away cup. The Christmas theme was followed through not only in the decorations. But on the menu as Well. Jason (our waiter ) was really Nice! THE PIZZA was giant id suggest to share and then have room for some Of the wonderful desserts.

An amazing restaurant which just as amazing staff. Everyone has a smile and the atmosphere is something to experience, the place feels like luxury despite not being that expensive overall and the deserts in particular are just amazing, so unique that I've recently seen other restaurants in different parts of the country try to imitate them but not even getting close, love this place its me and my girlfriends tradition to get the freak shakes there!

The entree was a lemon shrimp pasta dish and was the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I think Italian chefs own and run this place. The Tiramisu dessert was 3 stars because of how it was presented (in a glass cup), layered, and tasted. It seemed too light on the breading and chocolate powder, and seemed a little excess on the cream. It's probably the worst Tiramisu I've had compared to other Italian restaurants. I'm used to getting a nice rectangular, layered Tiramisu.

Great menu, and even more amazing desserts! Lots of options from traditional Italian to more unique dishes. It was quite packed (even on a Tuesday night) so I'd highly recommend making a reservation. The staff was incredibly friendly and it's a great dining environment, especially to go with friends or on a casual date.

Some of the greatest deserts I've had in Limerick hands down, delicious brownie. Buttermilk chicken burger was as expected, nothing too special, bun a little burnt which is why I'm knocking off a star, fries were hand cut and fresh, pizza was delightfully well made and fresh, definitely Italian. Overall I'll return, atmosphere was nice, friendly staff, well priced and those deserts are oh my. Can't wait to return and try some lasagna.

I had a fried aubergine burger here before, it was a special, and as a vegetarian, it was one of the best things I have ever gotten in a restaurant! Definitely the best burger I have ever eaten. Please put it on the menu, OBSESSED! Lovely vibes and staff as well, must go for drinks some time too, interesting stuff.

Food was ok. Dessert was a massive let down. Got the chefs mess which was actually vile. Tasted seriously gone off. Served by a lovely waitress but another kept coming over to the table and interrupting our meal and trying to take our plates when we weren't finished. The place was very quiet and nowhere near closing time so I don't understand the rush to get us out. Tried to take my partners plate again whilst mid conversation and generally made us feel quite uncomfortable. It's a shame as I was singing praises about the place but I'd be slow to return to the centre location.

This place served our dishes faster as any fastfood chain I know and that while being a normal restaurant! Quality of food was ok, prices are a bit on the upper side. The desserts seem to be famous with the locals and are really something on its own, great freakshakes!

Had a very nice burger topped with beef brisket. Fries were disappointing. And there was a draft hitting my back nearly constantly where I was sitting. But staff were friendly and helpful. And place was well decorated for Halloween

From the moment we made the reservation we got such a good vibe from this place. The lady that took our reservation was so nice and professional, received a confirmation text 2 minutes after getting off the phone for that night. There was no waiting time when arrived, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was so nice (never got her name), but she was so lovely to deal with and very welcoming. As for the food, all I can say is it matched our whole experience, it was absolutely fabulous every bit of it, we cannot wait to go back.

Really nice place and the staff are always friendly. I would highly recommend making a reservation before hand as it is usually busy. The pizza is really tasty here but I have had the carbonara also a couple times and not really impressed as little to no ham just a little too plain in my opinion. The coffee on the other hand is fantastic, They also have a great novelty hot chocolate menu which is really good.

Great location and loads of space compared to the university one. Friendly and helpful staff too, but when asking for vegetarian specials we were pointed to the fish dishes. What we ate was delicious though. Reviewer who said they weren't full must have appetite of a hippo. If possible, arrive early - when we left at around 19:30 there was a large queue waiting to be seated.

Was a bit hesitant after reading trip advisor reviews but we were offered a table with in 2 mins without reservation. All requests were met without any hassle, one of our party had a hankering for seafood in a creamy sauce and it was done no problem. crispy prawns are fab , the Carbonara really yum and the requested seafood dish was demolished in no time. Very pleasant helpful staff and reasonably priced. Will be back

Busy and buzzy. The food was average, the atmosphere a bit lacking - as if the designers couldn't decide if they were doing a trendy mass-market eatery or a chrome plated diner. The result was bright, less than comfortable and very noisy. One visit was enough for me.

Enjoyed the food on both occasions and our waiter on both occasions was friendly and efficient. My only issue was when a friend and I had lunch on Nutella day once our initial waiter served us. A random member of staff continued to interrupt our meal and make us feel uncomfortable by asking how we enjoyed our meal and trying to make breif conversation but had not served us. We couldn't understand why and thought maybe we where taking to long. Which just made the situation more awkward. Probably won't be eating there again for a while.

Very good food at La Cucina, the starters are good, the main dishes are all awesome from the pastas to the pizzas or the risottos. Let's be honest, anything four cheese is to die for (pizza or gnocchis). The desserts are also super good with my personal favourite the chocolate and salted caramel tart. The wine list is also very good, I recommand the white 'suave'. To add to all that, the staff is amazing and always has a nice attention to the customer.
