First time here even though it’s been in Limerick for decades. Really nice evening, delicious food, good wine and really friendly staff. The decor is really old school and rustic. It almost makes you feel like you’re in Italy. Will definitely return.

We held our daughters 20th celebration there last night. Four of us had steaks which were the best I ever had!! The pasta dishes were magnificent. The Chef Stefano and his team made us welcome and gave us a great night. Thank You.

Beautifully cooked flavoursome food. Very friendly and helpful table staff. A nice wine selection that was surprisingly inexpensive, both by glass and by bottle. Would definitely recommend it.

I went into the Pizza part, it was very nice 9/10. A good pizza. They also have a set menu which was good value. I was full after it. Edit: I've been there a few more times (restaurant and pizzeria) and food is very consistent - in a good way. 5 stars for the food. The decor is like Italian restaurants I've been to in Italy. A bit old fashioned but definitely an authentic Italian restaurant.

Have been going here for years but haven't gone in a while, that must change that soon! Wonderful location with wonderful staff who are so friendly and accommodating. The pizzas are delicious and freshly made, the interior has a real Italian feel about it, its also a quiet location being underground too. The starters are fantastic too and the desserts have always been a favourite of mine. Ideal for a date night ect

Steep enough steps to get down to the basement restaurant. That's where the negatives end. The inside decor is lovely, the staff are very friendly and attentive without being obtrusive and the food is so tasty. Good wine list too.

Went to La Piccola last night, we didn't have a reservation but were lucky to get a table at around 6.30 pm. I had a prawn cocktail to stay which was great, huge prawns and delicious sauce, I then had lasagna which was absolutely fantastic! I eat lasagna all the time and this one was the best I've had in a long long time. Highly recommended for great Italian food!

A hidden gem in the heart of Limerick, been here for 35 years where other restaurants come and go. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants in many countries and this one of the best. The food is simple and delicious, the staff are friendly and inviting.

Fantastic Italian experience in Limerick! We were on a roadtrip around Ireland (from Germany) and this Restaurant was among the highlight. Fantastic and super friendly staff. The food was amazing. And all around top notch. Go try it out!!

Heard the owner giving out to staff as we left...not very pleasant. Lady who served us was lovely and very attentive. Very good service...garlic mushrooms delicious..as was the bruschetta! Not sure if I will rush back tho...didnt like owners manner.
