V. S.The food was delicious, the wait staff was fairly occupied (almost overworked I suppose), the ambience was good but I was sitting on a stool near the counter in direct line of sight to the front door which kept opening and freezing me with cold wind.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, its better to get a reservation as it might be busy and you wont be able to get tables. Staff are great and helpful, and they take of customers keeping in mind the social distancing norms. You also get sake in there which is must try. Would be returning soon.

Entire section of menu was dedicated to vegan dishes, staff were friendly and food was fairly quick to arrive. A cosy spot and very much enjoyed. Will definitely return.

B. Z.For a person that lives in Ireland, I would understand why this would be delicious. They use local meat for the beef. Because I live in the states and living so much closer to Japan really makes a difference with the type of food you expect. I missed eating some Japanese food so I came here. I give it 4 stars because it just wasn't as comparable compared to Japanese beef and sushi. Why put so much bean sprouts in a "salad"/why give warm "salad." It's probably common in Ireland to have it warm/cooked but it just wasn't my thing.

a.Entered the premise at late lunch time for a quick bite to eat. It was fairly quiet and was served quickly. I ordered a wok fried Yaki Udon which came with a miso soup and was brought to the table within 3 minutes. Nice food, not extraordinary but nice enough. Not expensive.

J. H.Really really good sushi. There were a few reasons this didn't get 5 stars but the great food kept it at 4 and not 3. First, the door from the street opens directly into the restaurant so every few minutes you're getting blasted with cold air. They need to build some kind of porch. Secondly, we saw a sign saying they don't take card payments but this should have been on the outside of the restaurant to save us having to go out again. Thirdly, the waitress didn't write down our order, which was long, and she kept getting distracted and forgot parts of the order. And finally, the sashimi portion sizes are the smallest I've ever seen. For 7.50, the portions should be twice the size. In general the prices are more expensive than the best sushi places in Dublin but it's not at their level. I'll definitely go back but I'll get it as takeaway from now on!

I had the seafood bento box and it was really good, the combination of different smaller bites made it a good experience and actually very filling also. The sake was also nice. Very much recommended, it is not very big so you may havr to reserve or wait for a free table but that is worth it!

M. B.Nice Sushi restaurant, very nice food but the service is a shame! We walked in in a chaotic moment. No one hosted us properly, and the staff watched us in weird way. Then we finally seated in the bar, even if in 4 was very small and all three waitress came together to move us in a different table. We got the food in a regular time, but two plates were wrong, and they didn't come all together, so we couldn't eat all 4 at the same time. The suggestion of the waitress for the beer was perfect, but to change a dropped chopstick it took a very long time. Price quite high for the total dinner.

I’ve been in Ireland for a bit now and wanted food that wasn’t just meat and potatoes. So I gave this sushi place in Limerick a shot.
We ordered:
1) Seafood ramen - my fave dish that I ordered.
2) Veggie tempura - mediocre... it was too much mushroom and only 1 piece of yam
3) Spicy tuna roll - the tuna didn’t even taste like tuna. It was covered with so much dressing that it was so salty!
4) Salmon and avocado roll - this was good, but the rolls are huge and rice take up most of the roll
5) Gyoza - didn’t taste amazing
6) Salmon sashimi - we ordered this, but I guess so did the table next to us. They got their salmon sashimi order to their table and were confused because we were there at least 15-20 minutes they were and ordered before.
I would give this place another shot, but hoping to try other things and have better service.
C. L.Delicious food, very cute & cosy interior. I really like the decor! That said, customer service needs to be improved. I've eaten here four times and last night the staff couldn't find any record of the reservation that I'd made just a couple of days earlier, they then were reluctant to let my friend and I sit at one of the tables for four which I thought would've been a nice gesture given that they'd mislaid any record of my reservation.
Also they've got an annoying tendency to bring one main course and to have the other person seated at the table waiting for a considerable time before getting served their main. This has happened three times to me when going there with one other person.
As I've stated delicious food but please...improve upon those aspects of your customer service!

There was nothing interesting on the dinner menu at the hotel, so we stepped out and walked around a bit until we came by this place. So we popped in and had the bento box. Absolute delight! If I remember correctly, we went there again during that stay in Limerick.
