S. L.The place is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. The food is also really delicious but there is no drinks menu which is a minus as for a small glass of orange juice it's €4 which is overpriced. Also, one of the customers had a dog with her on the seats which is a hazard for people with allergies and it's not very sanitary.

S. D.Gorgeous little cafe in Limerick city, situated around the main shopping area and just a minute walk from the hotel we were staying in. The food was gorgeous and beautifully presented. Good seating area outside, well covered. It was busy inside so outside was our only option. Was a bit iffy about this considering it was raining at the time but it honestly was so comfortable and cosy we didn't notice! Staff were friendly and attentive. Hopefully to visit Limerick again in the next few weeks and will definitely pay another visit.

I recently went in the evening and the food is the same and the restaurant feels different some how such a lovely place to dine out in with phenomenal food and drink. Can't wait to go back and try more delicious treats.
T. O.Brilliant experience today. Stopped by at about 4pm for a coffee. Order was taken and they made a fuss of my little niece. They gave her her milk in a takeaway coffee cup so she wouldn't feel left out. Brilliant service by all. Well done all.

I walked in at 3 pm in the afternoon , and even though the pancakes were no more served thanks to the time i went at , the staff agreed to serve me some 🙂. I was attended by Jason and Julie , they were genuinely polite and friendly. The music was as perfect as the ambiance.

It is for sure the best place I have ever gotten breakfast out. It was absolutely delicious. The only thing I wish is that I ordered more. The staff were an absolute delight aswell. So polite and attentive to customers. This will definitely be the spot I'll be getting breakfast/brunch/lunch at from now on!

The others had the smash burger which wasn’t a proper smash burger, really just a standard bland burger and the bap was dry. The gyozas were tasty tho! Was expensive for the quality of the food.

The customer service was great, my boyfriend prefers a gluten free bun and when we placed the order, someone kindly called us to tell us that there was breadcrumbs in the burger just in case he was coeliac. Not many restaurants care that much about their customers to call them like that. We can't wait to order again! 10/10 would recommend to a friend! 😁

A. S.Arrived for breakfast had to book a seat, but walked around the city for abit and got a text message when to return (lucky it was dry outside!) The waiter that served us was great, ordered 2 buttery breakfast... wouls have been 5 stars only the food was a let down, the whith and black puddings had a very strange smell, not sure what is was but just left it on the plate, qas waiting for someone to come by and ask if everything was ok but that never happend just paid the bill and left, will visit again to try something else but other then that is a good place to meet fir coffee or a quick bite to eat!

The restaurant was full when we arrived but the hostess took my number and I immediately got a text message confirming everything. I was advised about a 40 minute wait and true to their word, I got a message within that time letting me know the table was available. The (lunchtime?) menu is on the small side yet it doesn't feel limited. I thoroughly enjoyed the chimichanga, it's filling and comes with the most delicious creamy sauce. We didn't feel rushed despite how busy they were and our waitress was very accommodating. I highly recommend The Buttery.

The staff from arrival were fabulous, very kind, and the menu was very clear as to what was GF and what was not.. The food was good and it was very quick service, my tip is to get there early as there can be a bit of a wait!

B. K.A really nice cosy restaurant, if you can manage to visit at off peak. During rush times, there is limited space to stand and wait. The menu itself is a bit crowded in design, a bit hard to read if you have literacy issues such as dyslexia or specific learning difficulties. The staff are very kind and bubbly, which is a perk. The food... Its okay. They might take it a little too far putting appearance over quality but it's not awful by any means. I will definitely visit again and update this review if my findings change

Waiting twenty minutes for a table for brunch on a Saturday morning is fine and to be expected for a good place, but it was another 15 mins before we were approached and served and then over half an hour for the food to arrive. This was the second time we had brunch here. The first time was amazing food so I was eager to go back, but the second time the food was only ok. I guess it depends on when you go and who is working. You will either have a great experience or a pretty standard one.

R.Personally I fell in love with the restaurant the second I entered, the buttery in my opinion is one of the best restaurants in the city, with amazing cocktails, breakfast items, lunch items and desserts. Heads up if you ever go here though, you'll be wishing you had a bigger stomach at times, because the food here is filling and amazing. You ever wanted bacon pancakes and a margarita? Go ahead, I was filled by the first pancake and bacon, want bacon and cheese fries with enchiladas, be prepared for some damn good food. The staff are also nice and relaxed on both occasions I've been here
