Visited this place a week ago, the service was top notch, ambience was good for an afternoon but I suspect it'd be better at night. I had prawns and scallops, lamb shank and apple crumble. The lamb was very good and so was the apple crumble. Everything was presented well.

Very happy to recommend The Silver Room Restaurant in Newcastlewest. Throughly enjoyed our first family indoor meal in this recently renovated restaurant (tks to covid lockdown! ). Nice bright, relaxing space using a subtle palate of white, black and natural toned decor including a hint of silver to compliment the Restaurants name. A good varied menu offering choices of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. (Recommend the roast duck and pan fried seabase). Interesting and well thought out combination of tasty fresh ingredients, all sourced locally, certified and beautifully presented. Thanks to Cori, our attentive table waitress, who brought us a lovely happy smile with each visit. Thanks also for the welcome and bowl of water for Kurt, guidedog for the Blind. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lunch for 4 at The Silver Room Restaurant in Newcastle West was faultlessly excellent. Service is especially friendly, helpful, and very professional. Food was delicious, and very good value. Ambiance and decor is great, especially if you can get a table in the new conservatory to the front of the restaurant. And....you can park almost outside the door. Back again on Wednesday to this restaurant after a 2 year Covid absence...even better than I remembered! This restaurant never disappoints. The food is wonderful, service is absolutely faultless, and the blend of friendliness and professionalism is perfect. Well done Silver Room management, staff, and chefs. 10/10 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This restaurant is absolutely top class. Very very high level food. Outstanding menu, and they do a set menu for 30 euros that is amazing value. With real top quality food. I don't know where you would beat it for value and quality. Ask for waitress Joanna, she was so friendly and helpful that she made the meal even more pleasant. Fantastic place

What an amazing find ! The Silver Room restaurant in Newcastle West (Co. Limerick) is stunning. The decor, ambience, staff and above all, the food are first class! I treated my mother on her 57th wedding anniversary and struggled to find anywhere available so close to Christmas, so decided to try Newcastle West. I saw that this restaurant had great reviews, so decided to go there. We were not disappointed. Even though busy and we had no reservation, the owner found us a nice table and the staff made us very welcome. All of the staff were lovely! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

I have visited a lot of restaurants in Limerick city and county over the years some good some not so good some cheap some not so cheap . A small number of restaurants meet a particular level of quality and excellence the silver room restaurant tick all the boxes for excellence in many categories . You will not be disappointed with your visit to the Silver rooms with friendly and efficient staff quality service and an excellent dining experience and of course the food is exceptional and consistent with a relaxed atmosphere it's the little things they do makes the silver room a peg above the rest I have been to the silver room a number of times and it's only getting better and better I have seen it evolve to become a gem of a restaurant in the midwest .in these difficult times the silveroom is taken all the precautions required for safe dining experience. Booking is important so plan ahead .Unfortunately there's only one thing that bothers me and it is I can't give the silver room six star .well done to all in the silver rooms .I will be back soon.

Went around 7 pm on a Tuesday without reservations for a party of seven. They were able to accommodate quickly and happily and continued with fabulous service the whole evening. Amongst the group we had the scallops, sirloin, veg soup, pancetta wrapped pork medallions, and fried mozzarella stuffed mushrooms (personal fav). We were all in the clean plate club... And you MUST save room for dessert and coffee! The lemon posset was the handsdown best dessert my husband and I have ever tried, and also had the trifle, apple pie, and chocolate fudge cake. For coffees we had the French (grand Marnier) and Calypso. You will walk away very satisfied!

I was thinking way the name "Sliver Room", and it reminded me of silence. When you are in there you can see everything what's happens outside, but as well have a silence when you have enjoy your order. Silver Room is good looking not expecive cosy restaurant, with beautifully environment who gives you a full filling that you are in some special place.
