I only booked a table on Friday and we weren't disappointed. Got parking nearby. Staff were very attentive and accommodating and food was excellent. Place was rocking with locals and atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely return

We visited here yesterday on a family day out. We were seated quickly without a y booking. The chowder was delicious and the burger was cooked very nicely. Staff were pleasant and attentive. Nothing out of this world but solid none the less. Kids menu was decent. Bit weak on desserts, but again not bad.

Food was good. Couldn't say that the manager made us feel welcome though. We arrived 5 mins before our time and were talking to some friends in the bar while waiting for our drinks order and the manager ushered us to our table as if it was nearly closing time. When we were finished our Food and chatting the manager kept walking in and out of the dining room while looking at our table we felt so uncomfortable and rushed . We will be very slow in going for a meal there again . Dining out is supposed to be relaxing not to be rushed .

First time visit to FOTM on Friday but not my 1st time to Lismore. Met by a very nice jovial gent possibly the owner. Nice welcome after the usual C19 procedures. Seated in a lovely area opposite open fire. Lovely warm room. Then another nice young lady allowed me to move to another table with computer access. Lovely tasty food but portions alas on small side for the price. Still ironically -I had no other interaction with this above mentioned gent other than when he asked me to vacate soon (again perfectly understandable given that I was there for a considerable time re work reports & his current pandemic bookings etc ) However a tall senior female lady clearly one who was a team player with years of hospitality experience made my stay/day by her great attention to simple things re desert menus, tending to the fire for all other customers & the jovial conversations re menu blackboard. This lady is most definitely a 5 star welcome ambassador team leader within any establishment as to how guests especially a new guest should be treated On the minus sides however —Bill was excess especially charging per pots of tea ( FOTM is Not the only venue that seems to adhere to this charging per pot policy) As always I always leave a generous gratituty. Alas Mens upstairs toilets were basic and clean but extremely freezing cold. Shame for such a nice venue ( old quaint pub/restaurant with upper seating amidst such beautiful ornamental ambiance in such a beautiful most picturesque town. However I for one will most definitely be back to avail of that open fire hospitality but as an avid tea lover it would be nice to see bills addressed with discount discretions especially for first time visitors such as myself. A trend which I am glad to say that the majority of other well established pubs/restaurants/cafes around this island of ours tend to adhere to whilst on my extensive travels work/leisure near & far. Next time I’ll give internet a miss.Considering all things/priorities in life FOTM is a place that I came across by chance that Friday I look forward to visiting again soon especially that open fire lovely ambiance & that above mentioned 5 star ambassador team leader. In short FOTM it most definitely deserves 5 stars as the positives far outweigh the minor issues Eugene P Manley Cork/Wexford

Lovely staff! No one asked for papers or ID to sit down and have lunch which is always a more warming and welcoming experience these day. The food was amazing and all the staff we spoke with and ordered off were amazing and really helpful. Definitely would return!

Came upon Foleys by chance and had Sunday lunch in the outdoor area last week. It was absolutely fabulous. The food, the service, everything. The meal was divine, the dessert, magnificent! Everything hot and cooked to perfection and excellent value! They welcomed myself, my elderly Mum and my 2 little dogs so graciously. They even brought a bowl of water and treats for the dogs! I was blown away by the whole experience! Well done Foleys! You're doing a great job!

If you're looking for a healthy choices and your having a road trip between Cork City and Waterford City you should stop by Lismore and have you lunch here. Also the dessert menu has a variety of local home made desserts that satisfy you to keep going on your journey.

Foley's on The Mall is a superb destination for food and drinks. Situated in the picturesque town of Lismore, Co. Waterford this pub/restaurant is superb. We had a meal there a few weeks back in their lovely outdoor covered dining area. Food was great, staff are very efficient and prices are very reasonable for top quality bistro food. Stopped by on March 1st for a late lunch. We had two wonderfully presented, warm and absolutely delicious meals. The staff were incredibly helpful, even when I messed up my own order. It’s a small venue but very warm and cozy with an open fire. It was busy all the while we were there so booking in advance might be advisable especially at weekends. For desert we ordered a sticky toffee pudding which was seriously nice and as we were sharing they brought us a very generous slice. Overall a really nice experience and lovely food. Thoroughly recommended if anywhere in the West Waterford, East Cork or South Tipperary area.

My wife and I called here for dinner while staying locally on our Wedding anniversary. It really was magnificent and I couldn't rate it highly enough. Lovely restaurant and bar with open fire (most welcome on a cold night). A beautiful meal with a very varied menu. You just know the food is going to be good when you see a menu with so many choices... It takes a great establishment in my opinion to be able to carry such an extensive menu. Also had numerous specials on the blackboard too! My wife had Calamari to start and Seabass for mains while I had golden fried mushrooms to start and Braised beef for mains. We really couldn't fault either as they were well presented, delicious and very good portions. A special mention must be made for our Waitress of the night Emma. She was a total sweetheart and couldn't do enough for us. Really, really good!

We rocked up in our finest woodland trecking gear with our 3 kids in tow and they didn't bat an eyelid 😁 .. our kids loved the place and the food was very nice ..my wife had seafood which she loved and I went with a safe curry.. the kids portions were really good and was so nice they finished completely. Beautiful food in a stunning location! The service was great and were able to cope with my friend with multiple allergies. If you stick to the wonderful daily specials you can get a 3 courser for under €30!

This place is a bit of a drive from the aviation museum , after the sight seeing we needed food on this bank holiday Monday , headed to this little pub, served lovely food & very baby friendly, plenty of high chairs. The jacket potatoes, for starter & the bacon cheese burger was indeed satisfying our hungers .

Food is fresh and portions are a good size. Service is good. I like the fact there is table water on the table when you arrive, although it would be better if it was brought out from a fridge when you arrive so it is cold instead of room temperature.

Called in here for a late lunch on a damp Saturday afternoon in December. The restaurant is simply furnished but there was a welcoming fire blazing in the hearth. We were greeted immediately by a friendly and very helpful waitress. There was a good variety of food on the menu including several daily specials. I had thai salmon salad and my wife had smoked chicken salad. Both simply made but tasty and cost €8.50 each. We shared a rhubarb and strawberry crumble for desert which came with custard and ice cream on the side and was delicious. With tea and coffee and some fizzy waters, the whole lot came to €34. All in all, good value and great service with sparse decor compensated by cozy fire.
