U. G.We were here celebrating a 40th Birthday. I had the chicken wings to start and grilled chicken burger with "Gluten Free" burger bun for main. There were other Gluten Free options available and It was all really tasty. I felt well looked after considering I was coeliac.

Tried the local craft beer which was excellent. But the food stole the show, delicious pizza and home made chips. Only sorry I couldn't try the butter milk goujons but will be back to try them.

D. G.A group of 8 of us riding from Galway dropped into the Jolly Boys for a bite to eat. We were absolutely blown away with the range of food, the service and the outdoor seating arrangement. We had a variety of dishes from pizza, burgers, nachos and salad for the celiac. The staff were amazing and so helpful. Definitely a hidden gem 😊👍🏼
H. C.Great outdoor area. Fab real pizza. Kids meals only €6 euro and ice-cream only €1.50 ! It was so nice to stop have lunch with the kids, with proper yum fresh food and great value. Love the decor very electric picnic. Be nice with friends and a few beers too (without kids obviously)

a. d.Hats off to three local lads who undertook this challenge through Covid. The pizzas 🍕 are delicious and their variety of sides and burgers will satisfy everyone's needs. I visited with family and we sat outside in their new covered seating area. The ice cream was also a massive hit with our children and we really appreciated the top service. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing. P.s make sure you try their local ale that is produced by Wide Street Brewery.

Turned up at Jolly Boy's tonight 17/08/21 not knowing what to expect.
WOW! What a pleasant surprise right from when we walked in the door.
First we met the brilliant LUCY and I really mean brilliant.(what a super personality}.
Nothing was to much trouble for her.
We ordered Two starters; BBQ Buffalo Wings & garlic Flat Bread, which we shared with relish.
Mains were, PIZZA LEODELFENTO & loaded house chips.
Bernie's were; JOLLY BOY BURGER & Garlic Cheese House chips.
portions of mains we couldn't finish as we had wolfed the complete starters. But this was no problem to LUCY , who promptly took the away and boxed for us to take home with us.
Thanks again to LUCY and all the staff @ Jolly Boy's for a really pleasant evening. We will be back.

W.Finally after a number of months I Finally got to visit jolly boys pizza and grill,last Monday at around 6pm we entered,outdoor dining area is fabulous lots of room and very well layed out,service was excellent beer was cold which was great as it was a very warm night and the food,which is the most important thing was excellent from the hot chicken wings to the amazing burgers we got could not find one fault ,although I think people should b advised not to eat for 2 days as portions are that big 😀can't wait to visit again

F. K.Yesterday I had a delicious gluten and dairy free meal I took home from The Jolly Boys Pizza and Grill in Ballymahon.
A yum beef burger sweet potato chips and bruschetta... A very thin and deliciously crispy pizza base was used here and while it wasn't what I'd expect, this bruschetta was very tasty.
The staff were really friendly and helpful in getting my diet needs fully satisfied and conformed to. Sitting, as I waited for my food, in a nice cozy couch I noticed the layout of the place with tables and comfy looking chairs and a bar. The ambience even now with no seated diners there seemed warm. Be nice to sit in to eat, chat and spend an evening soon as we're allowed I thought!
It's a new venture, replacing an upmarket eaterie and I really hope The Jolly Boys have all the good luck in the world as they deserve for their quite upmarket Grill and Pizzeria.
I hope too they continue to use and further source local ingredients and supplies.
