J. M.We went to "The garden" at the Shannon Bar after hearing great reviews about the covered outdoor eating experience and variety of food on offer and we weren't disappointed.
There was seven of us in the group and it can sometimes be a challenge to get a place to eat that suits everyone's tastes. The Garden at the Shannon Bar was more than able to cater for us with burgers, kebabs, variety of dressed fries, pizza, fish and allot more we had plenty to choose from.
Located along the Shannon and 10min drive from Longford Town this is a great place for dinner and a few drinks.

M.Lovely bar with a real sports feel to it..the bar man finbar i think his name was very friendly and chatty and really made us feel at home.the big tv was nicely displayed with loud volume witch was good as i could watch the hurling and listen clearly..pints are €4.40 and it was a great pint. Located beside the river shannon it is ideal for fisher men and tourism. 5* Rating for shannon bar.
