My youngest had chicken goujons for €5 which was lovely. My wife had chicken with a mushroom and white wine sauce wigh chips which wqs lovely. All in all a very nice place for a family and no Covid-19 restrictions to complain avout

S. O.My partner and I stayed here in the Silver Eel a few years back and found it one of the nicest and sweetest spots to stay. Loved it so much and are dying to go back again.
A. M.We went there tonight for the first time. Food was over all great. the burgers however were quite dry -perhaps from been over cooked. Jackie looked after us really well, very attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely be back again for another meal. The only other thing to mention when we arrived from the out side we couldn't see any cars so we thought it was closed until we got around the back to see all the cars & car park
b. m.Overnight Accommodation is not suited to wheelchair guests. No lift to rooms and car park area is difficult to manoeuvre due to badly deteriorated surface. No clearly marked wheelchair parking. Risk of not having access to car when you return at a later time.if others park to close

P. C.Arrived by boat, lovely trip in from the Shannon, great scenery. Dinner upstairs in new restaurant, great panoramic view of Grange Lough. Food was very good, friendly service, definitely going to be back again. Cozy atmosphere in the bar downstairs. A real find in the middle of nowhere.
