A very tasty meal. The pork steak of the main meal was well cooked and juicy. The lemon meringue for dessert was delicious. The calamari for the starter was well cooked but I didn’t enjoy the seasoning and would have preferred a sweet chili sauce

The Silver Tankard never lost its reputation for serving up a good meal, We dined there recently. And treated ourselves to Fish and Chips with Mushrooms, and Onion rings, lots of them!! A fabulous meal, well and truly stuffed... And the lady server with the 00 Guinness tee shirt was very nice and friendly. Very large portions and delicious too.. We will definitely be returning to The Silver Tankard very soon.. Definitely one of the best meals we have ever eaten... I am giving the Silver Tankard. 6 chefs 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳...

The food was very good. The entire menu had an Asian twist which was executed deliciously. After the meal we decided to ask the waitress where the chef was from...and listen to this... The owner of the place was on MasterChef. We were like OMG did she win? But the waitress said that she came second, literally the highlight of the weekend. Pints were good too.

Friendly staff .... well prepared for social distancing etc. Food was fantastic. I normally am picky and only like my own lasange but theirs was sooo good. My mother got all day breakfast from mushrooms to egg faultless. Well worth the stop.

Absolutely love this establishment. From the cosy atmosphere of the interior to the tasty, delicious food. Great variety on the menu at very competitive prices. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, one in particular, Caolán, who was so friendly and helpful. He couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious, and the dessert was scrumptious. Lovely place we all got different meals roast beef. Cajun chicken pasta and burger with chips sausage and chips for my niece good servicing on each we couldn't finish but their garlic bread with bacon bits are to die for their dessert aren't nice rhubarb was sour and very small helping on the ice-cream so was their apple pie other than that would still return

I was there with few of my friends to have a dinner. And i was lovely surprise since my last visit! Exterior was change 100% it was modern irish restaurant and pub was separate what you cant not found in other irish pub when you decide have just dinner not sit with other drunk people. The Silver Tankard is a fabulous place to visit and the restaurant is great. Great selection and value for money. It is and has always been a favorite spot for myself, my family and friends. I usually drop in for lunch or order takeaway from the set menu list. Sundays are very busy so I would recommend ringing ahead to get a table. Regarding the guy from Brazil who is saying that tankard is a place full of racists, I want to say that I am Irish and many of my friends are foreigners. One of my friends is from South America and she is very dark. She visits Silvério tankard, and often waits for me to have lunch and she has never been treated badly. On Sunday it's always busy at the restaurant and we have to call to make a reservation.
