I.First the bad - they brought the wrong order (chicken wings instead of a boneless bucket which the kids don't like - we had to cook them something else). The amount of chips served was minimal and chicken wings not very tasty. Bit tricky after waiting additional time for food - which they rang and warned about in fairness, and we're also far away.
The good - the double chicken burger was real tasty with a great sauce (I'd imagine single would be lacking meat).
The driver sent the money back immediately via PayPal. He was honest enough. We'll go back and try once more to provide more accurate feedback here.
T. C.I had placed an order which arrived on time thankfully. However, part of my order was missing. So i called HKC but they could not understand what/why. They apologised and offered to send out the rest of the order if I chose to order from them again, or I could ask for a partial refund via Just Eat.
I opted for the latter. However, I was informed by JE that HKC had then declined a refund as apparently I had agreed that they would provide my missing items when I next order (why lie?)? I informed JE that this was untrue and they advised that they would look into the matter further...
Half an hour later, I had HKC at my door who had kindly sent the missing items with a free bag of fries. A change of heart clearly and a kind gesture.
Despite this, I'm not sure if I would order again due to the faff this caused. The burger tasted very nice but the chicken and wings left a lot to be desired.
For any Muslim customers, HKC do offer a fully halal menu :)
W. M.Good halal food, ordered fried chick, was cooked fresh upon order. Order might take more than 15min but food was great.
