Always have a great deal of options vegan, macro, allergens etc... My favorite place for a Friday night takeaway. Sadly they only deliver around the Lucan area. So Co.Dublin outskirts are usually not delivered to. Waiting time is usually around 10 mins, but there are nearby shops to browse in while you wait. Parking right outside too. Pricing isn't too expensive either most dishes are around €12.

I find Mao lucan to be over priced for the portion size. The food is good but I would like to see the menu choices change through the seasons and for me Mao lack a really good old style Chinese curry. They offer plenty of other types of curry but they lack a little something.

Nice place. Good and healthy meals served right from the chef's pot. Is very affordable and with health benefits for different vegan, vegetarians etc. They have this cool app, where you can make your orders. The great part of it is this, wait for ir, 'after 10 orders, you can get a full meal for absolutely Nothing'. I will recommend it to everyone who wishes to try out healthy Asians food. Definitely get my 5*

The music is so loud the girls can’t hear to take your order. You have to shout and they shout back. I ordered four entrees, two of them were wrong. We were too tired to resolve all the issues so we just ate it. The flavor was good on all four, one was a bit spicy. Portions should be bigger for the price.

Love the food. My husband usually gets Tom Yum soup which he loves,however last night he said it was terrible,no spice or even flavour. Tasted like dirty dish water...

Ordered from Lucan Mao yesterday for first time. One beef Penang beef curry with jasmine rice and one Pad Thai. The beef curry was very tasty and also the rice. Some pieces of beef were chewy but generally It was quite tender. The rice was fluffy and tasted ok. However, the Pad Thai was so disappointing. The noodles were the same as tagliatelle and also tasted like pasta. The noodles were all stuck together and spongy. This dish did not come as described on the menu. The chili described was the bottled type of shop bought sauce . Nuts and beansprouts were invisible. This meal is way over priced at 10.95. The chicken and prawns were tasteless and the portion size very small, although in this case it didn't matter as I didn't eat much of it. I will try here again but will stick to rice dishes.
