Stayed here on the 21st August and there are two things that make it stick out. First is the service. Very friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. Secondly the food is absolutely delicious. The rooms are a little small but cosy and the place is spotless. They strictly adhere to COVID guidelines so you feel safe. Would highly recommend

Brilliant food here today. From the time we went in the front door, everything was A1. Plenty of hand sanitiser at door, one way in and one way out, contact tracing. The food was fast and delicious. I personally had the chicken curry which was very nice and my friend had the roast beef which looked very good. All in all if you are passing here, don't, go in and enjoy the excellent food and service.

I stayed at the Firgrove for a work trip. The rooms are fairly small but ample for a single person. The room was very clean although the decor is a little dated. The beds are very comfy and offer a good night's sleep. The attached bar/restaurant offers great food and drink. The only minor issue we had was one evening we got back at 1am due to work. The night porter wasn't answering his phone, luckily my colleague had left his bedroom window open otherwise we would have been stuck outside all night!

Totally amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Customer service was second to none. Staff went out of their way to accommodate despite being run off their feet on an extremely busy day. At the start we didn’t find our stay that great we found most of the staff were rude and especially morning staff. Until the evening when we came across Kevin and Catarina from the bar and Shauna from house keeping they turned our whole stay around and made it the most enjoyable stay hopefully the other staff can learn from these guys

I am staying in the Firgrove Hotel Mitchellstown and it's very nice and warm welcome and wheelchair friendly and accessible as many hotels in Ireland are not. I have a beautiful bedroom and bathroom and it's very comfortable and near reception for me too as I have mobility issues. The staff are very good and check that you are ok and the food is excellent and well presented and it's a good view and ten minutes from the shops and I would recommend it to anyone who is traveling to check it out and you won't be disappointed I am very happy and I see that they have a lovely three course meal for Valentine's Day 💖💖💖😻😻

Having stayed in this hotel in the past and also attended many a function there ,I can't speak highly enough of it. My wife and I had made a booking to stay for 2 nights recently (July 2018) but we unfortunately had to cancel the morning of our stay due to a family emergency. I phoned in very early in the morning with the news and a member of staff made a note for the receptionists about our cancellation,I phoned back later on in the day just to confirm the note was recieved and the very 1st question the receptionist asked was regarding our emergency and if everything was ok. This to me was a great sign of the character of the employees and also the hotel. we hope to reschedule our stay soon and will no doubt be staying in the Firgrove Hotel.

Attended the Firgrove Hotel for the Ken Doherty v Mark Williams for the Snooker Extravaganza event. I had a VIP ticket & got to meet both the players beforehand. The VIP area for the meet & greet was small but intimate. It was great setting & atmosphere to mingle with & meet Ken & Mark. We had front row seats level with the black cushion which provided an excellent view of the table & the players around the table. The atmosphere was very good & both players were in good form & humorous. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend these Snooker Extravaganza events to any snooker fans. Praise should be given to the Firgrove Hotel & all the sponsors from Mitchelstown & Fermoy for making the event possible.

OK not so much friendly with older staff not even a hello but an OK kinda grumpy lol the younger staff are very friendly and working well I actually enjoy an ould misery guts now and again Shur stuck in her ways no doubt :-) but I'm very impressed now with the hotel I think we will book in as a family soon and give a full review

We stayed for one night and we were very surpriced, at first that there was a room avialable because we were searching For a little while, the price was not expensive, the room was very, very, very big, there was a bubble bath in the room, we had to leave very early because of our flight the next morning, breakfast didnt start intil 8 o clock, but we had to leave at 7, but the man in the restaurant Made for us Some toast, he gave us Some foil to pack iT in, Made us Some coffee to go and was very nice!
