Really enjoyed our lunch at Food Capers. We stopped in Mallow, on our way back to Dublin. We found the owner to be so welcoming and friendly. He chatted to our children and gave our dog a treat ! A great example of Irish Hospitality.

Food Capers is a great place to have a coffee or tea and some lovely sandwiches and beautiful cakes. Staff are so helpful and courteous and friendly, so be sure to visit and you also will realise how good it is.

Friendly staff, very nice coffee, yummy homemade baked cakes, and a particular favourite for me is their brown bread loafs. Fantastic efforts made for during lockdown with the out door area, a great addition to the cafè that brings life to the town as you enter into Mallow.

We have visited Food Capers twice now, the staff are very friendly and always deliver on there customer service. Lots of options for the casual eat-in, they also offer takeaway for when your a busy person and can't stay for long. They have several tables and the look and feel of the place is very classic and traditional. *Also the fridge light seems to be on the blink but it's okay with all the lights off I'm sure with some music it will serve as a great strobe light! Hope to come visit soon again!

Proved to be an ideal pit stop corner cafe on our way to Killarney. Friendly service moderately priced. We had 4 coffees and 4 cakes from their wide selection of sweets and salads for a little over €20. I had Chester cake. Lovely.! Tip for owners: try periodically turning the salads to keep them looking fresh. Clean tables and toilet included free😊

Matty Taylor's place. Used to be called Taylor's Corner covenant store. Now it called Food capers. Nice place to go for lunch. Great selection of Sandwiches and Rolls freshly prepared in front of you. Teas and Coffees are good here too. Great place to come alone or with Group or family or friends. Nice staff. Inside and outside seating. Good staff here.
