J. L.Market place is well worth a visit in Mitchelstown. The seating is very spaced out allowing each table very private dining. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer local craft beer on tap which is a nice touch. The food is amazing can't say enough about it. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Fresh good ingredients and loads of options.

B. B.Stopped off here today on way back from Skibereen traveling to Monaghan. We sat outside. It had heating and it felt very comfortable. Staff where friendly and very attentive. Toilets where spotless. Food was excellent very tasty. I'd highly recommend this place.

D. E.Myself, wife and two young teens went for an early meal this afternoon. As usual, the food was lovely - even the kids emptied their plates. Decor comfortable and inviting. Staff friendly and capable. The only issue is that the place was empty, apart from us. It is disheartening that such a good restaurant, at reasonable prices, is not being supported locally.

M. L.Great food and great staff. We were on a road trip and we stopped there not knowing what we would experience there but it turned out wonderful and we were both glad for the decision. The only thing I would complain is the chairs and couches were kind of dirty with lots of drinks spilled on it and I would say they have to be washed, but that’s it really, everything else was great.

R. S.Stopped by here on the recommendation of our B&B host at the nearby Palm Lodge. Turned out to be quite a nice restaurant. We met the proprietor, John, who gave us an excellent recommendation to visit Lahinch after we had visited the Cliffs of Moher. We had a nice conversation, great drinks and an appetizer. Experiences like the one my wife and I had at Market Place and elsewhere in Ireland really made our honeymoon unforgettable. Highly recommend the whisky flight.
S. C.Went here on Sunday for the roast which was a bit disappointing. The roast came with onions, peppers and other salad foods which I felt kind of ruined it. I'm not a fan of onions and it was the first time I've ever had a roast where they were on the plate. The same goes for the peppers. Don't know why anyone would put them with a roast. It also came with horse radish sauce which I'd never tasted, that was disgusting and really should of came in a side dish as it mixed with the gravy and ruined the taste. The beef and mash was lovely though. Got the rice putting for dessert which was great either. Have had much nicer elsewhere.
