Food was absolutely amazing. Had the brie and fillet steak. Food was cooked to perfection. Drinks were lovely, Cocktails were constructed very well. Guinness was very nice. The service was good but we were left waiting for drinks at times. Overall great place to go for food and drink.

The staff are brilliant, a credit to the owner. The decor and facilities are excellent, very tastefully done. Open fires were very cosy and homely. Food was very tasty and presentation was excellent. Compliments to the wonderful bearded chef and his crew! Will come here again for sure. Joan

Really good. We were visiting the nearby Donkey sanctuary and after a long walk in the grounds there had built up quiet the appetite. We had planned to drive to Mallow to eat but came across The Old Walls just at the other side of Liscarrol village. It’s a pub/restaurant with a large car park so we decided to go in. There was an outdoor dining area that was extremely well done and despite not having a booking we were seated with menus straight away. Our order was taken promptly and the food was server promptly. Generous portions well presented. We both had turkey and ham followed by malteser cheesecake. 2 Drinks, tea and coffee brought the bill to €53.80. We were very happy with the cleanliness and efficiency and will certainly be back.

What a fab place for lunch/dinner! Food is amazing,we had Brie as a main course...omg,yummy!!! And the strawberry meringue for dessert was heavenly 😍,never had one as nice before. Such great staff as well.. this place has it all!

Had a lovely experience here when everything reopened. Friendly atmosphere friendly staff and more than welcomed with complimentary food. The smile on the staff was most welcomed and can not recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back again

Would highly recommend visiting The Old Walls in liscarroll..from the delicious fresh home cooked food to the staff who were really friendly and so helpful..the atmosphere was so relaxed and the out door covered area is perfect for the times we're living in..we had a birthday girl at our table and the owner had a beautiful dessert topped with a candle sent over as a surprise..a really lovely gesture. Thank you so much 10/10 we will most definitely be back again.

We had a great time last saturday evening for our daughters 18th birthday. The food was very good & the service was excellent. Our waitress Theresa was especially good to us & made the birthday girl feel so special & did so much for us to make it a great evening! We'll be back!

A really fantastic dining experience. If I was to be in any way critical It would be of the owners dress sense which leaves a lot to be desired - Other than that I’d highly recommend the old walls for food & drink 👍👍

I went to the old walls last weekend and from the time we went in the doors, we were greeted with the most mannerly and courteous staff. Social distancing measures put in place made us feel very comforting. The food was beautiful also. I had the steak sandwich and as you can see by the presentation it was as nice as it looks. One of my friends had the chicken curry and just going by the scent and his review It was rated 10/10.. staff excellent and food equally as good. Id advise going out of your way to go there.

OMG...what a fantastic place...the food was just amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been nicer and were constantly checking up to see if everything was ok for us. I have to say that I was just so impressed with everything and really looking forward to going back....one other thing to all you guinness drinkers, it's like mothers milk😊 Thanks Jim for a great night and looking forward to seeing you all again soon😁
