It's only a small bar and restaurant but it well designed. Even the toilet has wall decorations! I just had snacks and dessert. You can see the desserts are inside the glass display. I asked customers other table, they said they are regular here and they love the foods. Me too. Staffs are friendly too. Even Brian Cooper the popular Irish jokey dine here and our lucky day, he sat on table next to me!

What a wonderful place, from the moment you arrive one is made so welcome. Covid certs are checked before being seated, sanitizer on table, and a lovely greeting by staff. Food is amazing with locally sourced ingredients. Atmosphere is relaxed. A joy to visit.

Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food was ok. I had expected food that tasted better. This place used to have a pretty good reputation. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be rushing back. No one asked us for our COVID certificates. I really hope this is an exception and not the rule.

Easily one of the best dining experience in Ireland. Wonderful eatery with a great extensive menu. Our waiter Pat was super friendly. Attention to detail was second to none. We had arrived after a days cycling (June 2021) from Mizen Head and he catered for our every need in terms of food, service and information in the wider area. Genuinely the best food and service we experienced whilst travelling from the bottom of Ireland to the very top. A real hidden gem! Keep up the good work Pat and co! (Ryan and Megan)

Lovely seating area out the back so cosy and cute but room for plenty. Had the brie and a drink and was divine , would recommend as a starter or if like me, had already eaten and just want something small 😌 the service was also great and they were very accomodating . It's the best restaurant in kanturk in my opinion, better than any other options for dining. Try it!

We have been going here 10-15 years. Always a great night. Stephen and team are consummate professionals. The food is tasty and well priced and served with a smile. Great wine list and lovely pint of guinness. Highly recommended. :-)

Had an evening meal here Friday last,as usual was not dissapointed with the fare om offer. Food was good, service was PLEASANT and attentive, but the Brown Bread on offer deserves special mention. The word that comes to mind to adequately describe this food outlet is, consistency.

I ate here yesterday.im not from kanturk so stopped in here for grub. The place was very nice and clean and parking was very easy to get although it was a sunday so that probably helped.the food was ok. Its not guna blow you away but u wont be leaving hungry. It was around 5 to 6 euros for a starter depending on what you got and 15 euro for the main. The food was enjoyable no complaints just nothing spectacular. They were pretty fast dishing out the food aswell. All in all its nothing fancy but if you just want to have a nice hot dinner in your belly after sunday mass then it does the job

Adorable cosy retreat in Kanturk. Easy to find along the river with off road parking just outide. Plentiful portions with the most delicious potatoes. Friendly obliging staff with quirky feel-good backround music. The kind you would baulk at buying but hum along to when no one is listening.

This place the Vintage in Kanturk, Khao in Mallow and Longueville House are the three best places to eat anywhere in the Mallow and North Cork area by far. The others are mediocre to awful, don't both with them. Just visit those three.
