The Breakfast Delux (shown in the photo) is great value for money... comes with toast, white soda bread and brown soda bread, all of which are delicious. Service was quick and friendly and the outside dining area was spacious... plenty of parking in Kinnegad...

Dropped in last month for a bite at lunch time and ordered the special burger with fries and I honestly have to say it was the best burger I've ever eaten ,absolutely amazing. I would have no hesitation to recommend the food.will definitely return .

I stopped over for a meal in the Granuaile.. I decided to try their homemade Burger with barbecue sauce.. It came with fries and salad. The salad was nice, the fries looked and tasted like they had slept rough.. And the Burger was absolutely gorgeous in fact the best I've eaten and I would highly recommend this burger meal and the Granuaile and their staff and waitresses were really nice and helpful.. The boast a very extensive menu with some delicious dishes on it. I will definitely be returning to the An Granuaile soon fir some more delicious food.. Star Rating I will forgive the fries and give An Granuaile 5 stars!!

Stopped by on our drive across the country for a lunch. Very happy that we did. The wife had lasagna and I had the burger. The food was great although I was partial the the wife’s choice a bit over mine. The waitress and all the people there were very friendly. We would for sure eat here again if or when we get the chance.

Always a treat in store when you have food in Granuaile, delicious home made dishes and Deserts especially there rice pudding. It's beautiful decorated, lovely warm friendly atmosphere. The staff are more than obliging.. love my visits there.

A real gem of a location which i discovered earlier today. Jyst came upon it by chance and was impressed. Very friendly staff with a good choice of starters, main courses etc avsilable at reasonable prices. CoVID checks were in place and sanatiser on a lot of tabkes etc. Food was excelkent and well prrsented and thought very nice touch in that they offered jam for the bread and provided biscuits etc with the tea/coffee after lunch. Seems quite popular as it started get busy mid afternoon. Highly recommend especially if travelling West n want alternative to fast food from local service station complex. Definitely will return👍

Food was top class as per usual.However, the eating of it was rather rushed as we were obliged to eat outdoors in chilly conditions.Indoor dining was OUT! Heaters are a must , otherwise all is spoiled. Will call again when normal service resumes.

The best food for the best price! The food is fresh and they make it in a timely manner, which helps if you’re in a rush. We love their “steak bomb” and “get stuffed” sandwiches! Their breakfasts are to die for, a true Irish fry! A must try if you’re going through or into Kinnegad!

Stopped here for lunch while passing through the area based on the reviews and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Homemade hearty bread was served right away, along with a pitcher of water. Recommend the lamb medallions. It came with a ton of sides (mashed and boiled potatoes, mashed turnip, mashed carrot, and broccoli). 3 large pieces of lamb along with the quantity of included sides and bread would have been plenty to share for two people. We also tried the bay prawns - didn't like those. Prawns were tiny and served with a dollop of orange mayo sauce (like thousand island dressing). There was one table outside, but everyone ate inside. Credit cards accepted.

Great space has been generated. Registration of customers is routine. Sanitisation is regular. Your order takes a little time but is oh so fresh. Staff checked if customers need anything else. I walked in but advise ring ahead. Its good and busy.

I will will definitely be returning to this cafe again. Portions are large and you will definitely not leave hungry. And the price is very good. I eat large amounts and I failed to finish my dinner here on Saturday. They also do sandwiches and salads. My partner got salmon salad and there was half a salmon in it. Not an 8th like most places. Can't recommend this place enough.

Had the beef burger for lunch. Restaurant quality burger. The meat itself was probably the best I have ever had and the burger was put together perfectly. I'm not a lover of chunky chips but these were soft and delicious. Side salad with beautiful fresh coleslaw. Seating is cosy and comfy and the service is excellent with plenty of local custom which says it all. Have had lunch here numerous times and all of the above is consistent.

We’re lucky to have this lovely cafe in town! Working as a vet is hectic and tiring but these guys always have a smile and a welcome when I make it there for a little break. I love the way they always keep filling my coffee cup and the food is delicious and hot. They don’t mind if I have a child or two in tow and don’t mind catering for their finicky little needs. We always love a trip to Grainne’s.

Cosy restaurant which offers great choices of dishes for both breakfast and lunch. The classic burger takes a little longer to serve and it is well worth the wait, it rivals burgers in larger towns. The staff are wonderful. Pop in the next time you are in the area.

This is how Irish food should be done. Depth of flavor and fresh ingredients (if not also quite heavy and large portions). Very good and lots of variety beyond the traditional fare. Serves Irish breakfast all day and the best I've had. Very friendly staff in a nice town that's an easy on and off enroute between Dublin and Galway. Also has a great bakery so if stopping early on a trip pick up some bread or pie as take-away/to-go. I'd recommend, depending on appetites, getting an app and one entree to split for two people or An entree and extra side unless opting for their wraps. Cute atmosphere that felt like someone's home.

Slow with the food. Ordered turkey and ham, had to wait thirty minutes for the food. 8 people in the restraunt and 4 staff so the place wasn't busy. Turkey actually came out in little bits not as a slice like the ham. The boiled potatoe wasn't cooked through and the broccoli actually came out as a full cut off, stalk included. Surly the waitress should have stopped it from going out, but then again when you have to ask for the stuffing maybe a total staff change is required.

Lovely place. I had the lasagne, chips and salad. The lasagne was delicious, perfectly seasoned, I didnt have to add any salt (and I usually add salt, so that is a big thing). The chips were so big I'd call them potato wedges instead if chips. Didnt eat many of the chips or any of the salad because the lasagne is so filling. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the overpowering smell of the plug in airfreshner next to my table.
