Many times we have visited this place while visiting relatives and we've never been disappointed. It was lovely as an entire family to sit together. Lovely venue and amazing food. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and we received our food quickly and hot.

Dropped by this morning for a quick breakfast. The interior is so lovely, spotless and the tables all set for service. I was greeted by the staff, shown to a table with window view. I just ordered Latte and toast, delicious coffee and warm toast . I had a lovely 40 minutes. The girls are smiling and friendly, I will definitely make this a regular breakfast spot.

Sorry I did not try the Tomahawk Steak which looked like it would feed a small country, but there is always the next visit. Highly recomend eating here.

As a party of six adults (4 grandparents) and three young children we had a most enjoyable time at Browne's in Tyrellspass. Very polite and welcoming staff and a lovely dining area. The menu catered for all tastes and the children's menu featured steak and chips. Everyone had empty plates which says it all about the quality of the food - delicious. I always enjoed eating out until i had a stroke which affected my swallow and although this was explained to the waitress who in turn explained it to the chef my vegetables were so hard that i couldnt swallow them. A tin of chick peas does not make a thai curry

We have just spent the best two days in Brownes. We were a walking group of 18 and 9 of us stayed in the accommodation and we all had dinner and breakfast there. The place is just gorgeous, the staff simply can not do enough for you no matter what the request. Seriously hospitable place, great food and service and clean safe accommodation tastefully done. We will all definitely be back. Thank you for making our outing special.

The food is nice but nothing spectacular. A bit on the expensive side with a somewhat dead atmosphere. Service lacking, was half way through my meal before I was eventually given the gravy id asked for.

This is the perfect place to stop for a meal if you are on a road trip. The bacon and cabbage portions were bountiful and consisted of thick cuts of bacon (more like slices of ham) for €12.95. This dish was doused in a creamy parsley sauce and included whipped potatoes on the side. The other dish we enjoyed was the Chicken Wrap €7.95. It consisted of Cajun spiced chicken, crisp lettuce, red onion, and Cajun spiced mayo. As many times as “Cajun spiced” was used, I figured it would be pretty spicy. But it was not the case. The wrap was very good, but don’t expect anything spicy. They have a couple of beers on tap, including Guinness and Carlsberg. They also have 6 or 7 bottled beers including Smithwicks and even Budweiser. Pints of Smithwicks are €5.10

Happened to be driving up the country today, looking for morning coffee and stopped here! What a lovely, quaint place complete with village green and this lovely little hotel on one side of it! Sitting outside in the sun at one of their umbrella tables we had 2 lovely hot lattes. I made the BIG mistake of ordering only one scone which with jam and cream turned out to be melt in the mouth gorgeous! Would LOVE to have stayed longer but we were getting too relaxed and had to get back on the road! Would definitely recommend and BTW excellent service and spotlessly clean toilets etc.

This is a real gem of a restaurant. A little bit of the beaten path but very easy to get to of the M6 taking the Tyrrellspass exit. Table 12 - our third visit and each time the same table!! Each time the whole experience just gets better. Busy New Years Day but that did not show in the quality of the food or service. Had 2 staff serving our table, Jane and David and both were very friendly and helpful. Jane's recommendation of the Indian Curry for my main course was superb, only regret was I couldn't eat more! Would highly recommend Brownes for any occasion.

Stopped in on the way home for some dinner. place was beautiful,clean and cosy. Food was amazing,not one thing to fault. If you go make sure you try their BBQ ribs or chicken wings. It's average, which is neither good nor bad. Our meal was acceptable but in no way exceptional; mine a stack of slightly leathery burgers in a tasty enough bun with pretty decent chips. My wife had a couple of slabs of goat cheese on a toast and salad. If I were hungry and there, I'd stop, as it doesn't look like there's much better around, but it did make a bit of a dent in my wallet.

Met with friends there today, i ordered a diet coke, my friend a regular coke, mine was 200ml, hers was 350ml. We asked the waitress why there was a difference in size', my friend suggested it was a mixer bottle, the waitress said i don't know, we asked was the price the same for both, she replied i wouldn't think so. Staying in the area for work, I ate here twice. Staff are excellent, food is excellent. Over the two evenings i did early bird. Very fresh aldente veg, lots of mash. Gluten free sauces. Excellent chicken wings. VERY good duck, not the usual vacuum packed pre cooked version that has become the norm everywhere else. Lamb shank was excellent, I should know, I was a sheep farmer in a former life, perfectly aged. Caprese salad, with runny mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and fresh pesto. And dessert... strawberry roulade. Fresh, homemade, fresh cream. Superb. I SHALL BE BACK.
