S. K.We visited for my son's 13th birthday, as he wanted to try a Steak on a Stone, and he was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the service and food were equally fab. I had the bruschetta which was very fresh and tasty. The boys all had the chicken wings, they report the sauce and wings were amazing and moreish. The bigger boys (husband and eldest) had T-Bones which were a decent size and cooked well, having ordered a rare and a medium they were both happy campers. I had the Lasagne which is my go to anywhere and it was gorgeous. My son had Chocolate Fudge cake for dessert which the staff kindly popped a candle in and dressed beautifully and they even sang Happy Birthday for him, much to his teenage embarrassment (he loved it really). We had a lovely meal in lovely surroundings and will definitely be going back. Price was very good too.

J. W.A very nice vibe and atmosphere in this restaurant. A bright interior with a simple but convenient layout. Ideally located in the centre of town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had the striploin steak, with mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, it was like butter, so soft when chewing! I had a second portion of mash, was so nice. There was a small mixup on the early bird and a lá carte menu, but more my fault for not paying attention.

Only down side order chicken wings they tasted like where frozen and only got 4/5 of the skimpest wings I ever had. No blur cheese dip or anything.
Order t-bone steak with veg and onion rings.
My partners food came out 10 minutes before mine and then the veg came out when I had ate half my steak. And the veg was tasteless. Order cheesecake to share with my partner and took 20 minutes to come out. I was very surprised as been told this was a great place to have meal in fairness staff where nice and the steak was lovely but for the price of food and quality was not a good experience and will not be back.

The service is good enough but the decor and furniture could do with updating. Prices are not excessive but it's not the cheapest place in town. Somewhere for a treat.

L. D.The potato skins are just chips with rashers on top with a side of garlic mayonnaise. Very disappointing. The rib eye had a nice flavour but was quite dry. Staff were lovely and very attentive.

D. C.Went for dinner here with my girlfriend and her family. The food was amazing. I had the stuffed mushrooms for the starter. They were delicious. The only thing I will say is that the stuffed mushrooms are drizzled in garlic mayanase so if your not a fan of garlic do let them know. For the main course I didn't have steak. Instead I had lasagna. It was very tasty maybe could have done with a few more chips on the side but couldn't fault it for that. And for desert I had blackberry etons mess. This was definitely the highlight of the meal. Amazing.
