went for a late lunch / early dinner to celebrate a birthday. Venue was lovely, well maintained and very clean. Staff were extremely nice and we were surprised to see the early bird was available given the weekend that was in it. we got two sharing platters as starters to share between 4 (pancakes and combo) which was delicious and duck was plentiful for the pancakes. pancake amount was an odd number which is unusual given for 2 ppl. mains delicious and again generous portion size. tried the cocktails too which were well made. knocking 1 star off (would have knocked only half if it were an option) as there was a 10% service charge added which I didn't think appropriate (or see it anywhere) for 4 adults and 1 child. I checked the menu after which said service charge for 7 or more. it lined up to the amount we were going to tip anyway but I rather when it's my option to tip as opposed to being made to.

Very nice decor, pleasant atmosphere, attentive waitress and tasty food. Plenty of veggie and vegan choices. Only problem was that my side noodles tasted of fish sauce and I am a vegetarian so I had to send it back and swap for steamed rice. Best to ask for no fish sauce in advance in this case as this has happened to me before in other Thai restaurants. It was overall a lovely evening

Fantastic food. The restaurant has plenty of space between tables with dividers well placed. Our waitress Beth was an absolute joy. A fabulous dining experience. Highly recommended 👌

Friendly staff, very good food. Duck in Tamarind sauce was delicious. Food could have arrived a bit faster and would be nice if the mocktail options could be extended (only 2 options available). Nice decor

My new favourite restaurant in Maynooth. I've been waiting to try this restaurant for months. We finally went tonight and found a very reasonable early bird menu with plenty of selection. The starter and main course were fantastic, full of flavour and fresh. The portion sizes were huge so there's no danger of leaving with an empty stomach. The desserts were however disappointing. Certainly nowhere near the standard of the previous two courses. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Red Torch Ginger. I'll definitely be back very soon!!

Absolutely fabulous meal here last night. Red Torch Ginger never disappoints. Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Delicious food and mouthwatering cocktails 😋. Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.
