E. G.I was positively surprised by the place. It looks great inside. The sashimi and sushi are real good. 5 stars for Irish standards. Of course this is not Japan neither Singapore. But I loved it.

A. V.The online booking didn't work. Be sure to call to book due to Covid19. The time online was wrong too. The kitchen doesn't open until 5pm. Most of the food was good. We liked the Sake. The rice is different to sushi I'm used to. The duck was too sweet and the skin was not crispy at all.

L. G.Had a lovely experience at Tani, great food and very friendly staff who were most helpful. Only downer was our table was a bit cramped for our number and there was a big chunk of the menu not available the night we went, some equipment in the kitchen had broken. They explained this from the get go though. The gyoza, tempura, sushi, sashimi were all fab! No pics, we ate it too quickly!

Dessert was passable. If you want to try for the first time this is a good low stakes choice. If you want great food then you may travel further.

D. D.Authentic Japanese style restaurant in centre of Naas. Admittedly it was quite on the Wednesday night I called in but the service was charming, the food was good and the value was excellent. I picked a chef selection and was not disappointed. The Japanese beer was on draught and quite nice. Overall good value, nice service and tasty food with draught beer for good measure. I will be back.
C. M.The food is tasty but other Japanese restaurants in Dublin propose a much wider variety of meals. The desert cakes did not appear to be made by the restaurant. There is appropriate choice for vegetarian. Waiters are not asiatic which does not help for a Japanese atmosphere.

D. Z.Unexpectedly this is a very good Japanese resteurant . After visiting Japan I wasn't expecting to eat a food which taste similar to Japanese here in Naas. Defo worth to visit. Place is getting busy after 7pm so reservation is highly recommended.
One comment only - rice in sushi is too sweet.

Several adjectives could be used but in simplicity lies mastery. Hence, simple, balanced, masterful, complete would be my pick for the time.
M. S.A small restaurant that needs booking. We were lucky as we turned up without a reservation, but the staff were very accommodating. The food was great, from starter to dessert. It was reasonably priced and there was plenty, and we left very satisfied.
