M. H.We recently went to Two Cooks for a family meal to celebrate some important family milestones. On offer was the tasting menu. Every dish was sensational. They even kindly adapted the dishes - with prior notice - for our one vegetarian and he in no way felt he was being short changed.
Two Cooks is a fabulous restaurant with some imaginative and spectacular food. The service too was friendly, knowledge and attentive.
We can't wait for our next visit.

The Rubin beef sandwich is the best and is very good, chicken not so good. Beef bap is a bit tasteless, the pulled pork is too sweet.As sandwich house a 3 star, but very friendly staff.

We had a dinner here, choice of tasting menu or steak for 2. Excellent. The dessert was probably the best ever. 5 stars. Good wine too. Very good staff, professional, efficient well worth the tip!

S. R.This is a great find. Everyone from the staff to the patrons are friendly, the service was exceptional, and they are extremely accommodating. The wine selection was very nice and the food was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
C. H.Google Maps only allows me to give a 5 star review stating 'Loved it!', unfortunately there's no option to give an 'out of this world' or anything as such, so a detailed review will have to be my means of describing my amazing experience here.
TwoCooks is a small and cozy restaurant that is situated just on the bank of the canal in Sallins. It has seating for around 20 tables which isn't huge but it gives it a very lively vibe. When my family and I arrived, we had our booking yet the restaurant was full. Now that isn't an issue for us and it nearly made our experience more anticipated as the ENTIRE restaurant was full.
While waiting for a table, you will be seated downstairs in a comfortable lounge area with couches and tables, here you can order drinks and chat and later take your drinks upstairs with you when your table is ready.
My only issue with this is that the restaurant is upstairs and this means no wheelchair users will be dining upstairs, I would recommend calling ahead of time and TwoCooks would probably convert one of the tables downstairs into your dining table.
Onto the meal, which oh my God it was just impeccable. The menu is small yet the options are very varied which brings a great selection of food if your party orders different dishes.
Personally I went for the lobster ravioli to start which was incredibly soft and delicious (incredible chefs make incredible food).
My main course was the lamb rump and oh my it was just superb. The flavours and the tenderness of the meat was incredible and it really sealed the deal. I would however definitely recommend ordering some of their side dishes to go with your meal as it can be small in portion size while the side orders are as cheap as €2 or €3.
All of the floor staff are waitresses who inform you as to the contents and ways in which your food was cooked which I really appreciate. they're incredibly detailed with their descriptions and are super friendly all the same throughout the entire meal which really gives a more pleasant vibe to this establishment.
I have to recommend TwoCooks as it was just something incredible. Come here yourself.

A. S.I visited TwoCooks this weekend and it lived up to all my expectations. We ordered tasting menu which included 5 amazing dishes: soup, scallops, stone bas, lamb shoulder and a salted caramel chocolate tart. Quality of food was exceptional. Wine we chose was very nice and not overpriced. It was an amazing foodie experience and I will highly recommend it to all.
There was one thing I noticed, beer price. Way to much for the offered pints so stick to wine!
A. T.Food were amazing and every single dishes is prepared with locally produced and high quality ingredients. My regret was not starving myself before arriving, and had to give up finishing my dishes towards the last few. We traveled all the way from Dublin and was really pleasant with our evening. The environment was a bit noisy, partly due to guests that were dining that evening. Most of the times my partner and I had hard times listening to each others. I'd totally want to come back to the restaurant in the summer so I can enjoy a walk down the canal!

C. U.I was in the restaurant under previous management and what these folks have done here is nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is surely some of the best in Naas/Sallins. I have even been telling my Dublin friends to visit. It is ridiculously good value. Go and experience this place now before they get the recognition they deserve and put their prices up. We had the veggie menu which they put together for us with no problem. It was top notch. I watched the meat dishes as they came out and they looked amazing as well. Just go.
E. E.Good food and the staff were top notch. But my venison main course was cool when I got it, and nothing on the plate really stood out. My mackerel starter was decent but not exceptional. For the price I paid I don't think the quality was good enough. I don't think I'll be back.
m. t.This is one of the best restaurants in ireland. It has a passionate front and back of house lmangement. The food is Michelin star quality and the service is attentive yet unobtrusive. Perfectly balanced. Treat yourself and go here for food, wine and a bit of special treatment. You won't regret it.
J. O.Four of us travelled from Lucan to eat at Two Cooks and I'm so glad we did. We had the tasting menu with one main and each course was a culinary adventure. After the meal a member of staff asked me which was my favorite course and I couldn't really pick just one as they were all equally memorable.

Food is superb with just enough to satisfy without feeling bloated. good wine selection and a couple of beers on draught. House wine is "on tap". Overall very impressed. The food is amazing and very unusual. The staff are extremely pleasant. Sometimes there can be a wait before you are seated at the table but depends on how busy they are. It to me shows how popular and amazing the food is. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you like GOOD food this is the place for you 😊😊😊😊
